Disconnect it - pull the red loop to release it from the lower anchor (the bar in the vehicle) and then it will freely loosen.

How do I increase the belt length?

Pull the red loop to detach the connector from the anchor, which will then allow the webbing to spool out from the mechanism - hold the belt and pull the grey connector.

This was not very helpful as the video did not show where the adjuster was attached to in the seat.
