Can anyone show me the chain configuration on the right (starboard) side underneath? Does the deck chain go over the beater chain assembly? I just need a pic...or drawing or something...

Can you share what brand this is? Looks like County Mfg??? I've been comparing the box spreader vs the bottom hopper styler (newer & titan brand) seems like the hopper style could have clogging issues in the bottom where the box would not. any issues with bottom boards

It is from Country MFG. We tried to modify a hopper style seed spreader into a manure spreader, but it wouldn't do as well as we wanted. The hopper would clog up too much. The only issues we have had with this one was breaking the drive bolt when it jammed on a big manure flake, and we lost a set screw on one of the pulleys. Both were simple to fix.

We won't be sharing a link on this one, as the company said they weren't interested in working with us. I will tell you that we bought it off eBay rather than directly through the manufacturer. Saved us about $200 in shipping.

Looks like a good investment. I was just thinking about all the time you are going to save. That in it self is worth the cost.
