Yes! They work great with regular nail polish.

Thanks for the video. Do you wipe the stickiness off the base coat before you put the waterslide on? I've seen some videos saying to wipe it, but I can't see how the waterslide would then adhere to the nail

I do not wipe the sticky layer of the base coat.

The peel off base coat didn't work well for me. Do you have any specific tips for peeling it off? Love your tutorials!

Don’t buff your nails when you prep and it should peel off easier.

did you cure the base coat before putting the waterslide on? or straight over it before curing?

Definitely cure the base coat first!

Often I find that there are the full nail designs that don't have enough design to fit sidewall to sidewall and I have YET to see any one of the YT nail artists figure out a creative way to solve something like this. The ones that have "photos" like an image of a deer or character etc I have done the alcohol on a small brush to "fade" the edges and allow my background polish to show. So technically the whole nail is NOT going to be covered. But for a print?

It’s the sticky layer left after you cure the gel.
