Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Looking to apply a Ceramic Coating to your car? Ceramic Coatings are great and offer many benefits to your vehicles surface. Extreme Water Behavior and Hydrophobic Properties, UV Protection, and easier cleaning maintenance are some of the reason professional detailers as well as everyday consumers love Ceramic Coatings. Many companies make easy dit sprayable coatings, but if you want the true full benefits, then the little glass bottle is where its at. I have gotten vehicles polished locally and they look full of swirls and Ive never had them not burn thru at one point or another so I was afraid of evers touching a polisher, but your videos and some others really boosted my confidence to try it out and I did a 3 step polish on a truck with alot of waterspots that had been baked for years, but the truck had 30k miles with a tricoat candy type paint . And I managed to get so mucho gloss and smoothness out of it, waterspots completely gone and I followed up with a 9yr Ceramic Coat which went fantastic as well. Thanks for bring us thru all the steps and making us understand the process so much better.

For future reference if you’re worried about burning thru I wouldn’t suggest doing a “3 step polish” whatever that is to you on a 30k mile vehicle. Kinda setting yourself up for limitation on how much you can polish out throughout the life of the vehicle, Especially if it’s a DD, and no ppf is going over it to secure that in.

Been watching this channel since I started a year ago, I’ve been a huge fan of KCX and almost only exclusively use KCX products and imjoshv is definitely the best content creators out there for knowledge, videos always make sense, and have helped me tremendously in my detailing journey. So…Thank you for this content. I bought the ceramic, and fingers crossed I win that trip!

Been going through your videos the past few days and just want to say thank you for posting quality vids packed with info, but still right to the point. I've been looking at pressure washers for awhile now, mainly for home car detailing and few odd jobs around the house. I went with the Ryobi 1800 based on your review as well as a few others, not to mention having a few other Ryobi tools in the garage. Have a few upgrades on the way including a Flexzilla garden hose and pw hose for the aesthetics. Wife said I was spending too much on knives and watches, so I figured this is neither, so she can't get mad, right? I do have a question for you. I also got an AstroAI cannon. I initially thought it had a 1.1 orifice, but after a closer look it's apparently a 1.0. Will that change anything too much or would you recommend switching out to a 1.1?

Hello Josh. Awesome video and lots of info. Thanks for taking the time to make it . I have a question that I have never seen answered. I have a vehicle that has striping on it. How do I polish over this area without stripping off the striping itself? Do I hand polish that area and then apply the ceramic coating over it? That’s what I have done in the past and it has faded over time. Just wanted to see if there is another way? Thanks . Keep up the awesome work and videos that you provide.

I did a full decon wash, clay towel and polish with a jeweling pad. Then coated with this coating. I swear it feels like there’s no slickness to it. My other car with uk3.0 is way slicker.

So this product you put on and then shortly layer and buff off. Will it be tacky to layer and buff off? The ceratek says 5mins till it sweats. Is this stuff a minute or two? Every product is different, so just read their instructions and follow them? Any thoughts or recommendations?

Thanks very much, Josh. Appreciate all the knowledge. I don't see the Koch polish listed in the Items List. Do you sell on your site? Also, as far as electric polishers, what is your recommendation for a first purchase? I know you have done lots on this but just a recommendation would really help. I would like something middle of the road for sure so that I don't outgrow quickly. Also, I bought the Uber Flex house recently and that is a gamechanger. The length and quality is really great. Huge change and improvement. Which I got it sooner. Thanks again.

No there is more than one way to prep a vehicle for your coating. But the main thing is to properly clean and decontaminate so that the coating can properly adhere to the paint

Good info! I would love to do some of that but it's a chemical solution maze. And I'm thinking those partially filled 100ml Ceramic Co.o2 bottles are more related to expansion of profit margins as there's no way it needs room to expand 33%! :) I tried to checking prices on the KCx website but it's a mess trying to find anything.

Depends how the coating was cared for throughout the year. You should wash and decon, but if you do clay use a light synthetic clay towel and be gentle. You can polish with carpro essence if you wish to, then apply topper or whatever you wish to slap on after. Dont go into a deep polishing stage on the coating is the main goal and clay = marring and abrasion so stick to least aggressive options possible. It’s best practice to toss the towels out, or dedicate them to junk towels for shop or whatever if you treat them after use.

Koch Chemie is certainly a quality, well-known product, but their ceramic coating really flies under the radar. I didn't even know they had one, honestly. 75 ml though? I don't completely use a 30 ml bottle of coating on two cars. Unless you've got4-5 cars on deck to coat, you're going to be wasting product and money. Maybe KCx will offer a smaller bottle in future.

I just did my brand new car and I have never done it before. The hardest part is prep. The actual application of the ceramic coat is super easy. As long as you don’t have to do intense paint correcting, anyone with some basic skills and common sense can do it. But if you have dark paint with deep scratches, just do some test panels in hidden areas to get a feel for it.
