Well explained as usual. I am just going through your videos nowadays as a hobby. Can you also do the same slack adjustment video on an RE classic?
Lovely video mate, recently started doing the slack adjustment/check myself on my 390 Duke. Only doing it with a 17mm open spanner on the axle nut side. Hope to get a companion ring or socket for the bolt side. Quick question, can you share a link to those disposable gloves? I saw a few on Amazon but reviewers complain of easy tearing. The ones you're wearing seem a bit more up to the task :)
Nice one 👍 plz make a video on chain over lap adjustment
Bro which bulb is recomended in fz-s ver2.0 for better visibility
I have been using open head spanner to loosen and tighten the axle bolt, can you mention why it is not recommended or is their any issues if I continue using it ? Thanks
Ultimate Vedio brother. Really enjoyed your entire video. Wonderful Vedio. If possible brother, kindly arrange to make a review of Hero X trime 200 R.
Happy 70th Republic day🇮🇳 Good suggestion to keep vehicle in Gear while matching bothside axle nut positions!!
Can you please explain about the frozen link. I adjusted my Dominar’s chain but at one plce chain gets tighter and rest of the links are smooth
How do i know that i havnt overtightened rear axle nut without using torque wrench? (as i dont have one)
Nice video sir
Have been waiting for the fully synthetic engine oil video...
Hi bro, on seeing the bulb in last part, I remembered a question. The 160 4v carb version does not support a 60w bulb, can you please let me know why, do I have to change the whole wiring or anything else??
nice video 📹 👍🏼
which is the best tool kit for NS 200?
Every video of your is so informative. Someday m gonna be an engineer of my own bike. Idk if u'll believe or not, I was confused between the FZ and Apache. Finally chose Apache. Well I could only afford 160 4V single disk. I would really appreciate if you could make some more similar videos on ur RTR 200. Looking forward for more informative videos. Love from HYD.

Very nice video man! Tons of info... But one question at 1:30 the measurement of 20-30mm is starting from bottom end of the chain and at what point is the top indicator ending? Thanks in advance...
@thesportztourer
3 жыл бұрын
Hi! First you can begin by roughly selecting a center point in between the front and rear sprocket like shown in the video, from there try to force the chain down and up (vertically), the total distance from bottom point to top point is your chain slack. Thanks a lot for valuing and appreciating the content on the channel, really means a lot to me 😊 I have explained something similar but in more detail over here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/jJqm08mcmJiffZs.html
Hi buddy I have a ns200 I had a question that when we measure the chain slag does it need to be from the idle position to just upward or both upward and downward the
@thesportztourer
3 жыл бұрын
Hi Bosco! You have to measure it from top most position to bottom most position; also make sure the slag is measured roughly at the center between the two sprocket with wheels touching the ground.

To clean the chain whats your best suggestion out of these 2.. Diesel or Kerosene..?
@thesportztourer

Hi Naveen, Diesel works fine for me. My RTR 180 did 50k km with diesel cleaning 😊
I would like to tell one important point here, Dominar, pulsar 200 ns, KTMs all come with side stands only. This creates a lot of pain in properly aligning the chain, you may feel you have done perfect alignment by checking the engraved marks on both the sides but unfortunately when wheel is made into action at higher speeds you will hear a gushing sound of chain which annoys a lot.
WOW, 👍👍👍❤❤❤
Hi bro need your help!! 2 days back i cleaned my Dominar 400 UG chain sprocket. In that process removed front sprocket for cleaning and placed as it is but the problem that while riding i can feel one side of the chain is smooth and free and another side tight and hard and also by rotating the wheel i can see the difference i tried to fix but no luck so today morning i took to service center they just loosen little more and they said fixed. While coming back to my home again i face same issue. Can you please help me out. Thanks

Hi! This seems to be a problem with alignment (check the marked indicators on both sides of the rear axle). Other things to look for is wear and tear on a particular sprocket teeth and frozen chain links.

For a Dominar owner like me, your videos are most helpful. Thank you for those. I've done a little more than 11500km on my Feb 2018 model. A problem I face regularly is the chain becoming slack and I need to keep adjusting it almost every weekend. I'm wondering if the quality of the chain has been kept low, causing it to stretch out more easily. Should I shift to a Rolon X-ring chain/sprocket kit available at sniper-auto.com?
@thesportztourer
5 жыл бұрын
Yes, faced similar issues and finally the chain was replaced a few months back. The new stock chain sprocket is of better quality as no frequent adjustment was required after replacement. Have you checked this: kzread.info/dash/bejne/oWWGurJshbSagNo.html
Another thing I wanted to ask, I have seen TVS Service Centre follow certain practice. They usually make other co-workers to sit on the riders and pillion seat. And they set the chain slack wrt the weight consideration of both the rider and pillion. I find it unusual though because most of the time due to this practice the chain slack is more(loose chain) than the prescribed company settings.( Provided that the motorcycle is in standstill condition without any load on her) What are your views on this?
@Amex15
5 жыл бұрын
Yes i have also seen it & asked them they replied It is mentioned in there TVS service center Manual edition 2018.
@thesportztourer
5 жыл бұрын
Hi Suraj & Ameya, That can be done but the required slack will be different from the standard slack plus the weight on the motorcycle is not specific to the rider. It's different but not a wrong practice 😊

There are torque recommendations in the bike’s owner’s manual for such bolts. It basically tells you how tight it should be for optimum performance of that nut. If you tighten it more it may cause issues, if you tighten it less it may come out due to vibration. There a tool called torque wrench which is used where you can set the tightness number ( torque value given in manual) in the tool and then tighten it. It stops at that value and will indicate that the tightness has reached the value required. Torque wrenches are a bit expensive though.
