hey how about making a frame? but the photos have different resolution?

I usually spend so long trying to find a straightforward useful tutorial on anything Adobe (and typically I struggle to find that!) but this was incredible. Thank you for saving me so much time!

Hi, great tutorial! Subscribed to your channel :) Just wondering - I want to add a watermark to multiple photos but due to the images all being different I want the ability to place the watermark in different locations (i.e. not all in the bottom right corner). Should I create two actions; (1) to place the watermark and (2) to save/export the images after I have moved the watermark where I'd like it?

Yes, if every one needs to be in a different location, it will need to be set up like that.

excellent informative video. but where is the easiest place to to make my watermark? I just tried fotojet but it didnt save to my computer

I would do it in Photoshop or Illustrator, but it might be challenging if you don't know the programs well.

Do you have any suggestions if per say you need to have three seperate watermarks per image? I am finding it frustrating slightly.

You could have all 3 watermarks in one image - in that case they would be right beside each other. Or, you can go through this process 3 times.

They must be a different size in that case.

when i do a batch it doesnt always in the same place were i recorded and savced it to be at. even if i do a single photo and play it , it doens always put in the right place either. There all saved as the same photo as well

Hi, i have question, i tired all steps/process, but on other photos watermarks are very big, please advice? i need to maintain the same watermark size for my client

To keep your watermarks all the same size, your photos will need to be all the same size. Can you check that first?

@@GDHT thank you so much for your video, truly the most straight to the point and helpful ive seen yet! i actually ran into the same problem, but i finally figured out, so here's to anyone that might face the same issue - it's the dimensions, not the size! (at least for me)

the watemark is too tiny on some images and too big on others is there a way to automatically resize the watermark as a percentage of the canvas's size

Not that I know of, unfortunately. I would just group the large pics together and run the action, then run another one on smaller pics.

what am i doing wrong? if i try to use the file - scripts ... it saves something but its basically a blank data.. if i do the other one it does something but nothing is saved in my selected folder.. help

Yes - that's true! You'll need to make a separate action for each size.

Hello, Please Guide Me... I want to do the same thing..but in reverse.. I want to add multiple logos on the same photo. Example : Logo X to image Y and it gets saved.. then again Logo A to image Y and it gets saved.. then Logo B to Image Y. means the image remains the same but each time it should have different logo/watermark on it.. please help me to automate it.

No...1 Logo on one image..(the image will be same) and then logo 2 again on the same image..but this time it will only have logo 2... I have different clients with different logos of their business... I want to send everyone the same image but with only their logo and brand name... so image will be same for everyone... but each time the logo on the image should be different... like I want to send the same image to nike, adidas, puma, reebok, but the image will have each time different logo.. same image.. one with nike logo..one with adidas logo..one with reebok logo... So image will be same but the logos will be same.

suggest me something...from which I can.... copy paste different logos on the same image.... like.. Image X should have nike logo and it gets saved. then again image X should have adidas logo..and it gets saved. then again..image X should have reebok logo..and it gets saved. so..same image but with different logo...for different clients.

I would just make a folder with all images. Then duplicate that folder 3 times. Then run the action separately on each folder with the new logo.

Since I hate SaaS, I still am using Photoshop CS6!!! So I am unable to do something like this as a batch processing thing. I will have to do it manually. Oh well. Only 100~ images.

@@GDHT I am not positive but it doesn't have the actions like you showed. I am not a graphic designer though, and just had an illustrator make amazing illustrations of all the herbs I use in my herbal formulas (I am an herbalist). And they are so beautiful I can't get over them!! hahah. And since I paid for these, I own them, and want to start posting on Facebook, etc but want to make sure my watermark is on them for intellectual property rights. Maybe I will reach out to the illustrator and pay her some extra for her to place it on them for me. She probably has all the latest software!! hah!! :)

I hate this! I spent hours and hours trying it over and over! Will work on the same image, but the next image it's tiny in the wrong spot, or just tiny in the correct spot! Do they have one of these for 2023?

This works the same in 2023. What I usually do is separate all images that are roughly the same size into separate folders (you can find size under Image > Image Size), then do the process just on one folder at a time. It sounds like your photos are all different sizes, and the watermark is staying the same size, appearing huge on the smaller photos, and tiny on your big photos.
