😢 didn't work on my device mate. I did exactly what you suggested but no luck. Do you have any other suggestion? Can I unlock that menu via Xentry?

@@Matt_3535 Thats a shame mate, I think this could be related to the software version on the audio system. It might have been upgraded to the latest version where its now blocked by Mercedes. Can you check the software version here kzread.info/dash/bejne/hnuZxbWAhZS0d7g.html and tell me what it is? Also, what exactly are you trying to achieve from the engineering mode?

@@ManiSuReal I even cannot see the software version on my device with this key combination (Hangup+*+3) There are Time/Consumption/Owner'sManual options in the Vehicle Menu :( I guess, I'll need Vediamo to unlock my engineering menu first. Then, I'll be able to access that menu via Hangup+1+# Thanks again, much appreciated

I sorted via Vediamo & Xentry :) There was an error message on head unit. I cleared that message via Xentry. Then I enabled engineering menu on Vediamo 4.02.02 And Hangup+1+# worked for me 😊 Thanks again for your support

With resetting to factory settings, does it downgrade the updates applied by dealership to the car? Like Transmission or emission updates etc?
Hello I went to the engineering mode to activate the CarPlay but as soon as I set page exit and reboot the option back to off do you know why? TIA
It doesn’t work on my cla 250 2016 , what can i do?
I was able to access engineering mode by rebooting from the stereo part instead of the instrument cluster. But when I toggle carplay on in the engineering mode as soon as I save and exit it switches right back to off. Any fix?

How did you reboot the stereo part
I tried using the obd port for my Mercedes a class 2016 Japan import and didn't work :( no apple car play or android auto installed. Just got a diagnosis screen then restarted and still nothing new. Any idea why?

No that's not possible as that's hardware change. Currently w176 models are fitted with 12 lights only.
