Just noticed that when snufkin thought moomintroll how to skate he immediately got it. Snufkin knows how to approach moomintroll and he listens when snufkin speaks. But when moominpappa tried to teach him to ski it was a huge disaster, moominpappa doesn't fully get his son like his crush-i mean good pal does and on the other way moomintroll doesn't naturally pour all that interest into things. Idk i find it sweet

I'm here early, like Snufkin coming back on the first day of spring.

Oh it's the same for me. Any of my friends know The Moomins and my parents never remembered it either. I was thinking I was crazy and imagined the whole thing, but no. I finally found the title again and I can remember pretty well 2D DVDs as well. That one movie with the comet. I watched them in French, though, but I'm happy anyway there's another English show now. So many memories.

@@paperlynne7026 It's not a lure. It's a bobber. It floats on top of the water, so the hook doesn't sink to the bottom, and so you can see it move when a fish is on the hook. The lure is what you put on the hook, like a worm or piece of corn.

They've basically been queer coded since the beginning (they were in books from the 1940's), but the newest adaptation looks like it's getting closer to making the relationship canon :)

Like both of them snufkin and moomintroll feel like similar age. Also moomintroll sounds like he had puberty like in forever ago

@@highward5292 well they are meant to be the same characters from the books, in which snufkin is a young adult and Moomintroll is a child. But yeah now that I have seen the episode, there are many things which made me question whether the writers of this version know their ages, because there is indeed a lot in the episode that would suggest this not being a so friendly relationship.
