How to achieve anything in life by learning how to sell. | Rana Kordahi | TEDxCQU

She wants to make the word 'sales' to sound hip, rather than taboo. She wants people to be like, 'oh wow you work in sales!' She believes that everyone is a salesperson, whether they like it or not. Because we don't only sell products and services, but ideas, thoughts, opinions and even our personalities. Rana Kordahi is determined to make everyone fall in love with selling.
Rana is the founder and director of The Selling Academy and has trained and coached thousands of sales and non-salespeople in the art of sales, influence, mindset and personal development. A must watch talk. I have had the honour of having Rana train and coach me several times in sales, and I can tell you that she's the best of the best. I've had 15 years of sales experience, and her insights and knowledge still blows me away. But most of all she knows how to connect.

This was absolutely brilliant. It was a pleasure listening to a great communicator with high intelligence whose sincerity shone brightly. This was also an example of superb body language. The video should be compulsory viewing not only for sales people but everyone (young and old) who interacts with another person at home, or professionally. Thank you so much.

Amazing this just opened up my mind. I realized today sales can be so much fun if done in a consultative manner.

I'm surprised this doesn't have more views - hope it gets more traction, Rana! Loved so many points from your message. You really "sold" selling to me. ;) Like you said, it doesn't matter how good you are at something, if you don't have the ability to convey that to others, it's not worth much. Each of us has the responsibility to learn how to sell well, no matter what we do.

That's such a misconception. Depends on what company you work for. I worked for several ethical companies and you would get fired if you lied to a customer.
