What OS are you using. Is it windows with a custom explorer.exe

i have a problem. everything on minecraft is in fullscreen however everything like the list of servers and the title screen is all very small

I have a 3K screen so I don't like having to play with a tiny window I would Like to go full screen but keep it in 1920x1080. Is there a way to do this ?

yes I have found a very buggy, but fixable solution. In optifne under other settings there is a resolution changer, but it can mess up some moving textures and half the time it does nothing.

+Whalesters I have a 4k resolution laptop but It's not powerful enough to play Minecraft in 4k resolution. If I try to change the resolution of my screen in my computer settings, minecraft will only play in that resolution by using every pixel in the top left of my screen. Nothing for changing resolution seems to work as far as the minecraft profile editor settings and my actual computer resolution settings. Is optifine the best bet?

Optifine is a good solution. You can set the resolution in game to your monitors res

Man, please, i changed my resolution, but all words and buttons are so big..how can i change this to smaller buttons and words :/ ..in small resolution it isnt a problem, but when a change it on, for example, 1920x1080 full screen, its all so big

go to options then go to video settings and adjust ur gui

well i want a way to be able to play minecraft full screen with a really small screen resolution so it looks pixalated. like you are viewing it on a really crappy monitor from 1996
