Yes ma'am I have been doing my own since I was a teenager and I have gotten better at braiding and also way faster (only need 5 hours) doing my own hair 👍

Looks nice I like Braids accessories as well when I get my hair box braided it brings out the braids more 😊

Hey 😊. In my opinion no. To me cultural appropriation is when you imitate a culture outside your own for financial or social gain. It also extends to minimising the value of the practice or posing the culture as your own. If you just want to look cute I’d say go ahead. As long as you are cognisant that it originates from black culture.

Just make sure the gold does not make contact with any liquid substance. This includes water, hair spray, oils or even steam from a shower.
