service manual is defiantly worth every penny. When i bought my atv i had them get me one to bring home with me the same day. Everyone online will tell you something different and generally speaking nobody knows how to repair their machine as well as the manufacturer

Man. This made me worried about the work on my Outlander 650's. But surprisingly my Can am had more space then that grizzly for both cylinder heads. Still took me 22 hours total for both quads doing valves, cvt bearing, the all oils.

With exhaust valves I usually go on the looser end of the scale and with the intake valves I go on the tighter end of the scale because exhaust usually tighten and intake usually loosen👍

I also had a new 2003 Kodiak 400 for 13 years and changed the oil once and nothing else. I was young then but that bike was bulletproof. Those bikes didn’t keep Kms you could reset it whenever you wanted but I bet she had 15,000 Kms or more on her. Done brakes and oil change once and didn’t touch anything else lmfao. Same as my buddies 05 350 bruin bike is perfect cheap bike that had zero issues.

Thank you for sharing ! Always good to know how it works, even if we're not all able to do it all :P I mean, wen't to the belt check :P got to replace the one way bearing, not sure I'm up for it, so will see if I end up in the shop or attempting myself :D Adjusting valves definitely not my cup of tea :P

No problem and thanks for the comment. Even if you end up having to pay a bit to get some work done on your bike, it's still better than not doing it at all. Nice to hear you ended up replacing some components on yoru own machine. I like the feeling of making something work better than it did before it rolled into the shop.

I assume the valve adjustment would be the same on a 2023 Kodiak 700?

From one grizzly owner to another, thanks. Very informative. Where did you buy the rear passenger pegs and bars? Thanks.

That set is just something i picked out of a Kimpex magazine at the dealers when i got the grizzly. Really nothing special order. Those bars are called "fender protectors" ..for legal reasons im sure. And no prob on the video, glad you can get something out of it.

Nice job, a lot of information in this video. Much more time consuming filming while trying to do the repairs eh..

Yeah for sure. Takes really twich as long as im trying to explain everything as i go. My preferred work methods usually consist of loud music and a few cold wobbly pops.
