also Max is right about cardboard not being as sustainable as it is often made out to be... while it's true that cardboard degrades much quicker than plastics, when looking at the whole life-cycle assessment, the production of cardboard actually uses much more resources (especially energy & water input) than most plastics. The same is true when it comes to recycling it... so, yeah sorry Laurence but it seems no real thought went into the "sustainability" claim there 😂

So to recap, Laurence accused Max of: - having no real job - hurting his career (despite having no real job) - being a narcissistic child While Laurence himself is: - making his living as an entertainer. Fox's response showed how incompetent he is. I am sure you have encountered these kinds of behaviors. Cutting off people, not showing respect, using only one argument during a conversation. @@mirofeya Im also from Russia, sure it is interesting to watch how does the real democracy system work in one of these countries where checks and balances actually work :D One thing I could conclude from this series is that there are so much people who don't even care about who their mayor is BUT the system still works. So the output of polititians' work inevitably tends to impact life of ordinary people only in a good way, as opposed to how it is established in our country which is sad.

And he is still financing several wars including Ukraine one. Also, i lost 5 of my closest friends and all my older relatives because of politics. They think that it is fair to beat and shoot peaceful protestors. My own mom told me that if i was at demonstration against Putin and policemen beat me i deverved it.

Because a lot of the things which cannot be said in most mainstream media, is overspilled into foreign countries' medias, in a great big "spill your guts" issue, that is why... This is how things work politically across the UK in general.. With the different papers as well.... So yes, being a good editor is also important as well too. Some info can be known to the constituent, and yet some cannot be so ? So.... I don't really read the papers any more, but I read the reports and the analysis from the universities. Like LSEs reports... those ones are far more accurate, and focused on the balances, and why.. but you have to be a good general all rounder to get what IS going on. I find it so suffering to really live in the UK.. not knowing what is going on.... Really bad.

Max is being called a narcissistic child by a man who's being passive aggressive at him because he doesn't like him. And the reason for that is because he doesn't focus on the same problems as he does. The irony.

Cause you seem pissed all the time" is an ad hominem fallacy, first it's a false premise, second implying his character is array due to unhealthy drinking, it's an insult third for the underhand tactic of "you are X because I think Y of you, therefore you are disqualified". Meanwhile, the comments about Fox seeming drunk all the time aren't used to claim Fox is "disqualified", you added that yourself. Like you said, ad hominem is not equal to insult. "You're wrong because you're dumb" is an ad hominem, but "you're wrong and you're dumb" is not. Max is not making any further claim based on the statement that Lawrence seems drunk.

@@jpaugh64 plus he shouldn't be mad or feel threaten to someone who runs as mayor as a "joke" (i know its not the full intention, but you know what i mean). Fox really said "you're not worthy of mayor" and max literally told us to not vote for him.

"Why do you use your platform to be a narcissistic little child" Says Laurence Fox, (1) "Devaluing", (2) using "Projective ideation" and (3) Envy. A brilliant combo use of multiple personality deficiencies seen in Narcissists!

I think Max should be put in every election to really test the personality and humor of every candidate. Laurence clearly failed the test and made himself look bad

I love how he made multiple ad hominems before getting offended by an ad hominem

First time seeing Mr. Fox express his emotion in Fosh's video. He always has that bored/poker face, even when singing.

In the face of constant alarming and negative news all over social media and tv, I think we all certainly need a little bit of childish fun. I think we should be careful to not underestimate the value of humor as a society, and I love this channel because of that. I hope Laurence's hurtful words didn't get to Max, and I also wish the best to Laurence since he probably had to deal with hard realities when running for mayor

I'm not even British but thanks to this series I told my london-based boyfriend to go vote, I think he would've forgot if not for that ! So thanks max 👌

Wow, the UK is old fashioned. In Belgium we've been voting electronically for years and even before the electronic voting you weren't required to bring your own pencil. That's just seems so odd to me, that you have to bring your own pencil.

@Sensible fair point, but i think that we shouldn't try to assume everyone will have that type of mindset of restraining our urges to not yell at someone because not everyone will have the same mindset. Some more aggressive and this is youtube we are talking about, a place where some comments just make you lose yout faith in humanity (as an over exageration)

Count binface, is a famous "meme" type character, cos I have filmed somebody in the Cambridge are who busked inside a bin. And this man, is actually a good reputable musician to a certain level, and he was made famous by somebody who came along and got him onto FB too. That is way way way before this whole "Cambridge Analytica" thing. Ok, so fine... Silicon Roundabout obviously have created SOME influences to how we use and embrace social media in the UK. But his style of "social"... Well.. I have to give it to him, if that is what he proposed. Cos I know that Labour is kind of not strong either. As they use outside media.. and the media sector itself is kind of also blown out of the water though, isn't it ? It has collapsed on and of itself. So.. how does it all work now then ? Count Binface has been quite controlled politically is how I see it. He got his info from FB, as which is what most constituents used.. so we have to START somewhere !!! The various British papers on FB as well.. well.. he basically did literally reflected what people wanted, and not to join an actual "platform outside the UK's remit" is he ???? If government ministers is tied to nurses.. then it means that we are going to nationalise the states' employees.. and it will take us down the direction of an actual federation though... and not necessarily the various soveign states. And wasn't the entire EU was all about that too ??? Do we become a Republic, or do we remain as a soveign nation. I cannot even bring myself to vote barely !!! Are we swapping money for land?

You are a very strong person for being able to be talked at Lawrence like that 👏

Max is so clear and concise with this video while going over sensitive issues and it was so interesting to watch! On the other hand Laurence lost the debate as soon as he started throwing out personal insults😂

I love how when Laurence Fox's vote count is announced there's no disappointment, but a flicker of satisfaction, in his face. It's almost as if Max has succeeded in getting into Laurence's head and his priority is now beating Max. You may not have got the votes to beat Laurence, but you sure as hell got into his head and that in itself was a bigger win.
