Absolutely. One of the hardest to win too. Players have to go through an elimination phase that last about 2 years. Then the tournament itself happens every 4 and teams only have 23 spots to fill. So just going to the tournament is a big honor, winning it, that is massive!

At least this trophy will come to America in 2026, but it will probably not stay there. As long as football remains a third or fourth tier sport in America, that will not change. Remember, in all 8 nations that have won the World Cup, football is the number one sport.

You guys are one of my favorite channels of all time. I was sad when you said your goodbyes a while ago.
So far as I know, they're probably making replicas here as the actual trophy is kept by FIFA and is only presented to the team that wins the world cup. A replica of the trophy is then made for the winning country to keep permanently.

Prior To December 2022 (After World Cup 2022) I Don't Watch Football Much Because I Wasn't Interested In Popular Sport Depsite Being Long Supporter Of Liverpool Club. But After 2022 World Cup I Decided To Check Football Again And Things Have Changed! Since I Returned My Football Knowledge Have Been Improvement (Included More Leagues & My Surprised Discovery Of Barcelona Nott'm Forest & Örebro SK)

One question though, apparently the winners of the WC get the replica when they are sent back home. The trophy they lift though - is the original one. So, essentially what's the difference between the OG and the replica ? Is the material and co different ?
