And the BEST catch by franco harris
The worst one that's not even talked about is the 1977 AFC Championship game. Lytle's "No Fumble". With the Raiders trailing 7-3, Jack Tatum forced a fumble that the Raiders returned for a TD. Refs blew the whistle and said nobody saw the fumble. They gave the ball back to Denver and they went up 14-3 instead of the Raiders going up 10-7. Broncos would win 20-17. A few days later the NFL sent a letter of apology to the Raiders saying they missed the call. Raiders should have went to back to back Super Bowls. We have been screwed so many times and it's amazing how fans of other teams don't understand why we are all so bitter.

Don’t forget the phantom “roughing the passer” call on Sugar Bear Hamilton that gave the Raiders another set of downs in the ‘76 Divisional Playoffs…the Raiders advanced and the Pats got hosed…funny how Raider fans forget about that one…if not for that bad call, the Raiders don’t win the Super Bowl.

I love it at the end with a female voice saying. Actually, the scandal was Mark Sanchez touching a teammate's butt that was referring to the infamous butt fumble, where I believe Mark ran into the center when he was trying to scramble and hit his butt and fumbled the ball. Go Raiders!

The Raiders were one of the AFC teams that was physical then. Their issue was with QB.
I mean even though the trade didn't go through. The raiders still screwed themselves out of their dynasty because they still could have drafted Dan Marino. And who knows with Dan Marino could have took them to the Super Bowls. And with Marcus Allen they could have finished they could have won Super bowls
Should have drafted Marino
I agree, but they still passed on Dan Marino. Did not need Elway.
Ron Wolf likes to joke with Don Mosebar by calling him Dan Mosebar. True story
The NFL has always had a hard-on for the Raiders. Add to that "The Curse" and we're screwed. Elway, Brady and Mahomes are the standards for QBS today and there's just not enough talent out there that meets those standards. The upside is we kept Howie!
Can make a part two who make this a series
And now it's Jerry Jones vs Roger Baddell. And the Cowboys are the most penalized team in the league. And people think that there is no manipulation in sports haha

Still obvious til this day!!!!!!!!!
This is so much 'Raider paranoia' But even if it's true, I still don't care. Remember Al Davis' whole argument for the Raiders moving wherever they wanted without the leagues permission, was to claim each team was a separate company. It was not a company with 28 departments, it was 28 different companies. And the commissioners office was a separate entity who should be powerless. Fine. But companies that separate and discrete conspire against, and grift each other all the time. Can't have it both ways Al. Do ya want' "cutthroat" or "sportsmanship?"
Wow I never knew these. I've been a Raiders fan only for 3 years now. I knew that the Raiders are hated by the officials but didn't know down to the facts. It doesn't matter tho am gonna stick to them till I die. Idc even if they don't win a championship in my lifetime.
Not for all of them raider nation guys they say winning a Super Bowl not important ?
Al Davis also opened the door for teams forcing taxpayers to pay for stadiums and abandoning loyal fan bases…Baltimore, Cleveland, St Louis, Oakland, LA, San Diego etc…
At 11:17 the most pivotal move in NFL HISTORY 😮
Even as a staid era fan, I liked Elway.

Same things going on now. With the Raiders. Nada has changed

Heavy
Didn't help that he under utilized Marcus Allen so Much
Here’s my extrapolation The Raiders get John Elway The Bears get Howie Long John Elway gets weapons and a defense so he goes to 4 super bowls and wins 3 between 83 and 98 bringing the Raiders total to 5. Raiders win against the Redskins in 83, Niners in 84, and Niners in 94. They lose to the Niners in 89 Mike Haynes stays in New England but the Raiders get Kevin Ross with the last pick in the 6th round of the 84 draft The Colts get Jim Covert and Dan Marino in the first, and grab Henry Elliot and Mark Clayton in later rounds. they beat the Howie Long led 85 Bears instead of the Dolphins but the bears still go on to destroy the patriots but Mike Haynes gets a pick six to make it a little more competitive at the start. The Raiders stay in LA The Colts stay in Baltimore The Broncos move in the middle of the night to Oakland
They did it again to raiders when the NFL shit on gruden with alledged email leak.
There definitely was some funny business... but that is not what brought the Raiders down. Al Davis built the team (and yes I believe they were a dynasty (late 70s and 80s), however he also tore down the Raiders... what with all the lawsuits and Al Davis losing a lot of his football acumen due to not being around the team enough....imo..
@DynomyteDewd91

They weren’t a dynasty in the late 70s. 77’ afc championship appearance and 9-7 record in both 78’ and 79’ with no playoff appearance in either. Hardly would consider that a dynasty. They won a super bowl in 76’ but that would be considered mid 70s. They reloaded well in 80’ with different players at key positions and could be considered a dynasty in the early 80s.
The NFL hated Davis because he was purposefully not part of the football owners boys club.

Elway won 2 Super Bowls with the Broncos but he carried the Broncos on his back to get to 3 others. If Elway had gone to the Raiders instead of the Broncos, he may have won a few more Super Bowls and the Raiders probably would have had their dynasty at that time.
I'll also bring up the early 2000s teams. 2000 - Raiders finish 12-4, demolish Miami 27-0 in the divisional game. In the AFC Championship Tony Saragusa landed on Rich Gannon in the 1st quarter with his entire 300 lbs, injuring Rich. He was later fined $10,000, but the damage obviously done. Without Gannon, the Raiders had no offense and lost. 2001 - Tuck Rule. I don't need to really elaborate, do I? That call was never once made before, and never again. Just at one, crucial time against the Raiders. 2002 - Raiders go to the Super Bowl. But coach Bill Callahan calls the stupidest game in NFL history. Changing the playbook 2 days before the game from a run-heavy scheme, to pass heavy. This made zero sense, and baffled the players, as the Raiders OL outweighed the Buccaneer DL by a few hundred pounds. Tampa had a lights out pass defense that was unstoppable in the playoffs. The Raiders, despite having Gannon, Brown and Rice, were a balanced offense with 4 good RBs. But they rarely ran the ball all game. Tyrone Wheatley didn't have a single carry. The pass plays and audibles they used were the same old ones they had when Gruden (now Tampa coach) drew up. WTF? Some Raider players accused Callahan of sabotaging the game, as he hated Al Davis, and was friends with Gruden. I won't go that far, but won't blame other Raider fans if they do. But he did call the stupidest game in history.
