I mean I even think in my job the number of people that would be so immoral not even caring I was married. So not me. I think its really sad how our vulnerabilities make us fall prey originally to these relationships. You can go your whole life and literally think you have it all together to just realize you really don't have a clue. This whole experience is really something else. Its amazing how much I have grown from where I was even this morning. There is so much to learn. Do you find with each new thing you learn more and more flashbacks come back. It doesn't start out like that , in the very beginning they lovebomb you so much you tend to ignore the superior tone and the gentle start of all the persuasion and manipulation ! You are so utterly captivated and enamerred by their intoxicating charms , the intense eye contact , the throwing back of the head as they gnash at your every joke , and the fantasy future faking ! However , over time , as you try to please and impress them they slowly start to loose true interest and respect , they begin to become competitive and derogatory , and drive a sharp wedge into you self confidence and esteem ! You think you are going crazy , doing everything to try to please and as you increasing try for affirmation and approval from them you end up losing all yourself and become a desperate confused and lost empty shadow ! Then one day something finally snaps , and you realised YOU are right , you are being controlled and devalued , and your truth and reality have been controlled by someone who NEVER wanted the best for you , or even wants you to be free or happy ! That's when you finally take the BIG STEP of leaving ,..and it might as well be on the moon ,. it's such a giant leap of faith , a long slow walk to freedom , back to a better , stronger and much more empowered new version of YOU 💪💪 Another amazingly insightful video , Andrew 😜😎🙏

Their's a spiritual element behind narcissistic abuse as there with alcohol or drugs.Without support and understanding I would be in a very dark place today. Sights like this one have brought me to the light. I will never stop learning and most likely never stop healing. @@bumblebee803 hang in there it gets better. Keep focusing on building up yourself. I think people sometimes measure their life on how many friends the have but if you think about it if you have a few really strong connections in your life it is so much better then having lots of superficial friends who just want to take from you. I realized during my healing path people I thought were friends really weren't. They saw my goodness and new what they could take from it. I silently walked away from so many of these people the last few weeks and it feels amazing. I have so much more free time to do what I want when I want to. Like if I just want to take a 15 minutes nap I will because I can. No more guilt or trying to appease everyone. Sometimes I feel like the old mindset creeps in but I recognize it right away and automatically flip the statement out loud so I can remind myself NO is a sentence in and of itself. It needs no further explanation or feelings of guilt. God brings people in and out of your life for a minute, a day or forever. Each of them teaches us a life lesson to guide us on our paths. It's all part of his plan. If they are meant to stay in any capacity they will and if they are not that is really ok to. The one thing ong many I have learned is er can't control the future or change the past. So live in the present and enjoy all the little things each day has to offer. I have already found so many in just this hour I have been up that have just made me 😊. It's truly what life is all about. I think we always just want to rush things. We want it all right now. Slow and steady wins the race though. Baby steps and appreciating each one of them truly intensifies the deepening happiness we can experience every moment of each day if we just allow ourselves to.

Whatever recovery and healing that has taken place in my mind physically, mentally and spiritually over the past 5 months is wow on every level..I'm super proud. I definitely recognized the concept of boundaries recently and how dangerous it actually is when you don't have them. our boundaries are ours not theirs. I watched a video that said they think our freedom is theirs and thats no case. No one should ever feel they have the power to possess another person. It's really disgusting if you think about it. That's terrible. I actually take pause and on so many levels that is similar to my situation but for different reasons. The general theme selfish individuals who just care for themselves. What they don't realize is those same friends, family, money ect will be all gone as quickly as they come they go and they are left with nothing once again although this time they don't have us or anyone of substance. Good riddens. As I was beautifully reminded this morning in mass God wants two people to be one through marriage and commitment but that commitment has to be mutual and both parties have to be happy and fulfilled. That's not possible with a narcissist so to me that was God's message that it was ok I walked away because my marriage really was not a marriage as it was intended to be in the eyes of God or anyone. People should feel happy. Yes there are challenges, ups and downs in every relationship but that's honestly what helps people grow and deepen their connection. When your with a narscistist what can you try to deepen there is nothing there to begin with. you are alone in every sense of the word. He compared a marriage to another person as our commitment to our relationship with God. One of trust, dedication, empathy, wanting to help the other person grow. In no where in those qualities are the words Abused, Neglected, Disrespected, Destroyed, Humiliated, Broken, Empty, Manipulative used. Be kind to yourself. They see our goodness and take it and we let them but through education ALOT of education and the support and love of others who truly want to help you heal the sky is the limit on where your love for yourself can take you and the others you care about. I look at it like this these had their chance to many times. Now it's my time I give myself all my goodness and love and healing I deserve. I deserved it all along I just really needed to see that and now everyone else does to. 🙏🙌🕊️

Hi Andrew, thank you so much for another great Video! It's really hard to understand that the person you thought loved you just came to teach us how to deal with toxic people, better not at all...what we all have invested love and humanity and they left only scorched earth. The arrogance alone of them to take our time, love and existence for granted is the very last and disgusting. Thank you for your encouraging words and your engagement that you are every day here for us. It's every day special to hear from you! Feel hugged and be blessed 🙌🙏namaste 🙏

I was sold a bill of goods, for instance she wanted to go camping and decided it would be a nice little vacay for me and my son to come and stay at her place and let her dog out( she lived in a high rise, 8th floor) and of course I did it but I worked there 5 days a week. I got zero, nada, zip for it. I think I may have got a thank you. Not sure…,

I was told he wanted me comfortable, and will never take you for granted...well I tolerated his toking, as not aware right away when we met, but shortly before a trip to Jamaica. Then when I did tell him I tolerated it when we were on a break from each other, committed to cutting down....once I was back, shortly after he was back to his old ways...took me for granted of my nice ways. My narcissist was sure I would be back because I couldn't be happier anywhere else...some of his last words I heard ....I am a great guy

Some of my x last words were I just wanted an intellectual conversation with someone nothing else it's not cheating. The irony from someone that withheld affection, was always on his phone, constantly gave the silent treatment, gave breadcrumbs, would go in rage fits if you didn't say exactly what he wanted. The funny thing is he's not going to be attracting anyone capable of an intellectual conversation. Makes me really take pause of how incompatible we were from the start. As I type this 💡. That statement was probably just another projection since I'm the one who always was just looking for a conversation intellectual or not but I just realized for 2 months before the end I stopped talking to him and set up boundaries. I essentially cut off the supply so he probably was not looking for conversation but really just someone to stroke his ego. I just had so many flashbacks of the last month with him as I am typing this. I'm really proud thinking back not even realizing it I was applying these tools and I smothered the relationship by withholding the supply and putting it unknowingly back into myself. My natural instincts kicked in. I started walking 2 hours a day, eating better, drinking water, I found a whole new set of music and for the first time I really started listening to the lyrics. Wow I never thought of any of this before. You just never know where a comment will take you on your healing path. It's very empowering actually.

They take them for granted and take advantage of people. That is their default state. Actually doing something for someone all by themselves, let alone incognito, is foreign to them. That's why they have their flying monkeys there to serve, right? And they take credit and let everyone know it.

I realise in hindsight that I naïvely took my ex for granted, not in the sense of not making effort / treating her poorly, but just in the sense of assuming we’d always be together, and not because I’m a narcissist myself, but because I misinterpreted her behaviour as her being confident that *we* would always have a relationship, when she was actually just certain that *she* would always have a relationship, with whosoever it suited her at the time. Sure enough, even though she was the one who dropped me like the proverbial hot potato & all but excluded me from her life, when I blocked her in response she was - it’s clear from mutual associates - was quite indignant about it & couldn’t see the hypocrisy on her part.
