The public has been mesmerized by media. If there is one thing I'd like to see happen, it's growing awareness of how media has become corrupt and how it's relayed a corrupt government message regarding three of the major issues of the day: covid, our intentionally porous Southern border, and the risky and needless proxy war against nuclear Russia. There's obviously much more to the picture (such as how we became stuck with Joe Biden/Kamala Harris), and it can be understood simply by questioning everything we're being told while applying logic and seeking out the truth-tellers.

Selective honesty is a big thing with the media. By omitting certain facts, they can fall back on saying that they weren’t technically lying or being deceitful.

If you still believe in the system this is worth a watch, if you don’t watch it and confirm your suspicions. My Dad was involved with the British incursion into Indonesia in the 1960s and has said about manipulation and control ever since. Brilliant documentary.

70% of the world opium comes from the Middle East. They went in to take the opium fields under control to send it back to pharmaceutical companies Purdue pharma to release the 100 billion dollar plan of OxyContin. They see their soldiers as heroes, not war criminals because that's how they are being portrayed in hollywood movies. Then they see a documentary like this one and the gears start turning. It will take time to put one and two together, don't push them.

A distinction needs to be made between an authoritarian and warlike government concocting a false pretext for war and young men being fooled into believing the propaganda and risking their lives for what they wrongly believe to be a just cause. I respect anyone who risks their lives for a cause they believe in. The fact they've been deceived, along with much of the public, is a separate issue from the courage to risk one's life. It would be different if the troops k.n.e.w. the war was nonsense but still engaged in it.

I'll never forget a video of a US Soldier at an event Geotge BUSH was at. He yelled how there were no mass weapons of destruction. He wanted an apology yelling "You lied! I lost friends in your 'War,' you lied!" brought me to tears.

We allowed ourselves to be deceived by people we trusted. That contributed to our silence about these crimes against humanity and that came back to bite us hard via the Covid pandemic. It will never pay to be a sell out and everyone who participates in these crimes by deception or silence are going to eventually feel the pain. That includes those in power.

The pandemic for America is the evidence of the global atrocities that has been going on abroad for decades as shown in this video. It came back to hurt us “bite us” with the devastation of the pandemic because of our participation through our silence, voting for politicians that we allow to rule unchecked and allowing American tax dollars to pay for those atrocities. @@tobythompson199x The so-called pandemic was largely a psychological operation fueled by exaggerated statistics and 24/7 fear. It's become normal for governments to exploit--or create--crisis' which serve to concentrate even more power onto an expanding and authoritarian central government.

Social Security does this every day

I would like to see a network news program that not just mentions but features retractions. Admit when you were wrong. The more prestigious the outlet the less they seem to focus on accuracy. Sensationalism is the game. Retractions should be more important. So often they begin stories printing the names of who got a speeding ticket last week but failing to report that the officer that issued it lied about his radar readout. Things like that happen all the time. Finish what you start or don't start.

Outstanding documentary. Truth means being uncomfortable but aware, and you've delivered this. War is SUCH a Racket, and I don't think General Smedley Butler would mind my adding that word into his books title.

This is a very good film! It has confirmed a lot of things! I recently watched John's film (for the second time!) on the absolutely-terrible plight of The Aboriginal people .... That one 'kicks a*s' too!! Good Job John! x x

I like how John calls out the “cartoon journalism” at Fox, but then goes on to call the corrupt Observer and New York Times “respectable.” His own bias and remarkable lack of self-awareness is astonishing.

The NYT, Washington Post and LA Times are major news outlets which feed propaganda to the rest of the country's media. Reuters is a large part of the problem too.

My point was he grilled the former Observer reporter and the people from the BBC and ITV. Go back and watch his interview with Dan Rather, a noted liar, who was fired from CBS along with his producer for lying about George W. Bush. Rather was treated with kid gloves. He opens with; “For 24 years, the most famous news, anchor on television was Dan rather.” Then tells Rather, “Your own career is remarkable…” he then let’s Rather make a self-serving statement without challenging him as he did the others. Perhaps you aren’t very good at recognizing hypocrisy or perhaps you don’t care.

What an exceptional documentary, portraying the harsh reality of information heroes who risk their lives to unveil the truth. It's truly heartbreaking to contemplate the millions of lives lost in that war due to ego, greed, and the pursuit of power. I'll never fathom such depths of evil. This underscores why there's been such a concerted effort to silence and hinder Trump in his quest for world peace. He's united more countries than any previous president, and in my eyes, he's a hero with an unparalleled love for this nation and its people, along with Lincoln and JFK among US presidents. Trump's willingness to relinquish his luxuries for the betterment of others is commendable, and it's perplexing that some fail to recognize this. While he may make inflammatory remarks during moments of frustration and attack, it's important to consider who else among the billionaire class has sacrificed their opulent lifestyles for the greater good-none that come readily to mind.

Great points, Desiredbalance. I've always said that it's for a reason Trump has been attacked 24/7 for years. The reason wasn't because he was evil, but because he was telling the truth about the war-mongers and psychopaths orchestrating the wars and the news about the wars. The military/industrial war complex wasn't about to allow a 'blowhard' businessman to sully their game. This is why Trump is being threatened with prison as he's accused of the ''crime'' of questioning the 2020 election. The last few years have been a textbook example of media transformed into almost continuous propaganda. Covid day-in and day-out, complete with inflated numbers and, of course, thick doses of fear. Sadly, much of the public have believed the propaganda with which our media have pummeled the public. I'm hoping more are learning they're been gamed and thus can sidestep the media onslaught by means of awareness.

While I full heartedly respect you and your beliefs, one of our other greatest threats to our country is putting politicians up on a pedestal. They will say anything to pull at your heartstrings… that’s partially what this whole doc is about. I don’t support any politicians except on the local level. No president is going to save this country, it’s just the cold hard truth. I envy your amount of hope and love for a ruler, but we the people hold the power. No matter who wins next election things are going to get worse. We only have the illusion of choice. None of us chose either candidate

If we all focus on getting involved at a local level, and bridging the immense division the media has created, we might have a chance at saving this country. Otherwise, they’ve got us divided exactly how they want so we can never make a change without hating our own fellow neighbors

It's important to recognize that elections and voting are not illusions. When we keep repeating the idea that they don't matter, we risk discouraging people from exercising their right to vote and appreciating the power we have to choose the right representatives. Politicians benefit when we become disengaged because it allows them more control over the outcomes. To make a difference, we need to become more involved in local politics and elections. Attending local political meetings and discussions helps us understand the individuals who impact us at the state level. They are our voice, and if our votes didn't matter, politicians wouldn't be trying to change voting laws or immigration policies to influence outcomes. Engaging in civil conversations and being open with each other is crucial. I appreciate your approach, and let's work together to make positive changes. One love, my friend
