Might change once we get to Mars. Air filters and thermal control is all the excuse you need to make polyester shorts and t-shirts formal wear. Look at the astronauts; imagine getting to got to work in socks and sweatpants for practically.

Tahtahme Xero you are so right! I guess I include it in my “classics” list because it does keep coming back & because I myself have a penchant for old gangster flicks. That said, my daily uniform is still the classic jeans & T. 👍

“Whatever you’re wearing now is going to look totally stupid in 10 years.” AND... will be all the rage again in 25 years. Fashion is cyclical and everything comes back around in time. Btw you forgot to mention the hair styles... the bad guy’s hair style is actually a thing now a days! (Minus the plastic shield.) Also, if you want to know what the next trend will be, look 100 years past and mix it with 25 years past... voilà!

Roland Pierce look at the styles from 100 years ago, AND from 25 years ago, those trends are popular again now. It seems to be a cycle, so if you want to know what comes next look at what was popular in the past. 👀

Kay H, exactly. There’s a reason that Sheryl Crow song that says “these are the days when anything goes” pops into my head every time I see someone sporting something odd. But while anything goes, there are trends within the trades, certain colors and influences that come and go. 👜👡
