The recent migration law that passed already makes the rules stricter. Some people ignore it and treat it as some "woke" law, because it mandates relocation of the people who are accepted, but this was pushed by Meloni, Italy's far-right PM, as her country had to previously take everyone in instead. Overall fewer people will be accepted.

@@Pachi9- Well, this is something wrong. A minority should not impose their own laws. I agree with you. I prefer the spread of Islam among the local population better so that they become integrated into their communities as a new religion
So tired of this. Just simply look at the size of Africa and the size of Europe and their populations. So what, are we really supposed to welcome all of them here? Just physically impossible! There's not even enough of us Europeans to work and keep paying enough of taxes to pay all this social welfare for them!! Enough is enough!!! Why don't those masses of strong healthy men get together and fight for human rights in their respective countries, if they really want better future for their children and whatnot?

1/3 of africa is hostile desert with very very few people(practically no people) and no ability to make any food, others are wild forests and other empty lands, eu has a lot of food, good population density, and an actual infrastructure rather then some savanna in the desert, meanwhile a lot of african countries has to import it... Just a side note, not that i don't agree.

Two world wars were fought over that issue. My grandparents in the Uk did not fight for mass immigration but to protect our way of life. Many are not assimilatating,just taking.

Europe should try to amend international rules to take tougher measures like the coast guards to block boats and also prevent NGOs from operating in their waters.
Imagine a word where, in order to migrate. One needed a background check/legal paper's and the funds/skills necessary to survive. Speaking the respective language would be a plus. Nations need to crack down on illegal migration, especially when their blamed for the deaths of illegal actions.
They could stop it tomorrow. They don't want it stopped

I think you just don't follow exactly what's been happening. First of all, there is Frontex, an agency based in Poland responsible for defending EU's borders. Their budget has been greatly increasing for the past 8 years or so. The reason so many people die is because Frontex uses drones as opposed to boats to monitor the seas, exploiting a loophole in international law, so they can leave people stranded on sea to die. The recent migration law that passed already makes the rules stricter. Maybe European countries should return everything they’ve stolen, stop meddling and creating conflict amongst these countries or maybe we could back in time and prevent colonization and maybe these countries in Africa would have a better quality of life. That obviously will not happen so sadly people will continue risking their lives by crossing the med in order to enjoy a better quality of life.

@@romerocarla6353Imperial Colonialism by Western Europe was evil and those countries (UK, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands) should've been forced to pay reparations to their ex- colonies. However, this has nothing whatsoever to do with the current waves of illegal migration. Unfortunately, africans were killing (and in some cases even enslaving) each other long before Europeans arrived and have continued to do so after they left.

Goes like this: You don't have financial means to support yourself in this country? You don't have enough studies to bring value to this country? We'll take care of you. You're welcome. You have financial means to support yourself? You have knowledge in a specialized area that this country needs? You'll just make things more expensive. Not welcome. Also, seeing women wearing burkas in my, european, country just sickens me. If we don't demand respect for our borders and our culture, why would they? However, I don't want to sound as if no one can enter. I don't judge people by where they are born and what they look like but only those that prove to be an added value can be accepted in.
Our good will has been abused and our societies and cultures stained...if stopping this madness is compromising our values then I say we haven't done it early enough
