How The Celtics Offense Is Humiliating The NBA

Спорт

The problem is the Celtics do not use all their bench players in the playoffs like they do during the season. This is why they lost last year. This is why Tatum turned his ankle. They've got to use these bench players in the playoffs the same way they do during the season. They do that and run the way they do nobody can beat them. Use the bench players the Peyton pritchard, Sam howser, Al horford etc and when I say this is why Tatum sprained his ankle, it's a long season if they had used their bench more he may not have turned his ankle! Go Green Machine Go Celtics!

I’m a Celtics fan and I love this team with all my heart but sometimes they are very frustrating to watch because of their shot selection. We constantly settle for tough contested shots rather than getting the ball to the open man. If this Celtics team hunted great shots rather than settling they would be unstoppable. But make no mistake I still think they’re the best team in the NBA and I also believe they’ll win the championship this year, especially considering how good they are on defense

ALL teams can run pick and rolls and do similar stuff to what the Celts are doing. The main point is that the entire starting 5 of the Celtics are full spectrum threats. They can all shoot from 3. They can all make mid-range jumpers, and they can all drive to the basket and finish. More than that, they are all willing passers. You have to defend the guy with the ball, the guys cutting to the basket, and the shooters standing behind the 3 point line ready to catch and shoot. A perfectly committed defense can definitely give the Celts trouble. But this takes endless effort and constant awareness of what the Celtics are doing. The slightest slip up, and they get an easy score. If you don't play defense, as the Grizzlies recently failed to do, you get blown out by 50 points.

The obvious counter to all this is forcing the ball into Jaylen Brown's hands. He's the lowest IQ player in terms of passing, and he's shooting 34 percent from 3. Or they could hack him at the end of games and make him shoot FT's at his 70 percent clip. I love how he misses all his shots in these highlights.

None of this matters. The Boston Celtics has been at least in the top 5 of the Eastern Conference since Tatum and Brown has be teamed together. Only one time that they wasn't .only wanna see can they win a championship and it's probably a no

Celtics not built for playoffs. All they do is punch the ball on defense and settle for 3s in playoffs. That and Tatum becomes a gunner.

Yeah that's great, just like Embiid the Celts' offense is PERFECTLY catered for the REGULAR season. They rank dead last in drives to the basket, and still live & die by the 3. This formula does not work in a 7-game series in the playoffs. They haven't learned anything from the past years' failures, and are looking for another disappointing exit. Combine with the fact that Tatum was never able to take his game to another level (and unfortunately never will at this point)

Really? 45 3-pointers attempted per game will prevent them from reaching the Finals. Clippers can defeat them in a playoff series.

    A. They won't shoot as many 3s as they do in the regular season in the post season Players, especially Tatum are keeping the wear and tear to a minimum during the regular season B. The Celtics are BY FAR the best team in the NBA at post up scoring and will post up way more in the post season C. You're a 🤡
