Based on the coverages show that mean the advance counters to this defense running sophisticated levels concept or crossers or possibly a screen play could negate the blitz rush from the defense front .

When you see this defense, the draw is a nice way to punish the user MLB and open up the middle for a TE dig and mesh concepts

That's all it takes is practice and then muscle memory kicks in. You get 7 seconds minimum. Adjustments don't take a full second unless it involves manually moving a player.

Just to note: this scheme is really strong against compact formations. If you face spread or trips sets, you'll get dotted up pretty quick. That's why you should have another scheme available.

Very few people give you that much time to do all those adjustments I've been testing this maybe twice a game you can get all that done pre snap!!!

So they're pros but don't even use a real roster for their team? Anyone can build a team of all the best players and win. They have All Madden teams already and you couldn't use one of those in a tournament, could you?

Hopefully the patch that OP deep blue zone & loop blitzes before next MCS & make these guys learn something new on the fly for a change. Either way they'll just find more glitches.. sigh 😒😮‍💨

You gotta be really fast to do what Henry does. It isn’t easy.

Verticals and steak rb. Make the user pick. Bunch doesn’t have any good runs. Run a different gun set with inside zone or run bunch x nasty rpo’s.

I can't get the jam on the deep third no matter what adjustment I make!

The blitzing portion of it works vs everything, but the zone coverage adjustments behind it will vary depending on formation.

Yeah these blitzes don't work unless you have LBs or CBs who are actually smart enough to run around the oline instead of straight into it

AI coverage is better than the real nfl coverage 😂

easy way to beat this defense is to just not run Bunch WRs lol.. do a spread. 4 wide w/ the TE... and wheel the RB someone will for sure get open. Doubles Y- Flex and Spread Y-Flex has a ton of plays that would beat this.

You never have that much time to adjust lol especially on 3rd or 4th down

Yeah and in real life players are open too, doesn't mean anything when you're actually IN the game and not watching from the sidelines. You can't see everything at once when you're actually playing, especially when under pressure and only have time for 1 read. Somebody being open doesn't mean much when you have limited time to deliver the ball, and you have to predict where his User on defense is going to jump to on every play. This guy has won double the championships as anybody in history, I guess every single player in the history of competitive Madden just trash on offense for him to keep winning over and over.

Easy to say that after watching everything develop, but if he immediately throws it there, the user is covering it briefly. Smart players aren't going to go right where the user starts out at, that's how you throw picks. It may come open a bit later but they've already progressed to another read.

Can’t you just run the ball?

It is kinda sad that this is the best defense madden has to offer. The offense has the box advantage literally everytime. Just run the ball down his throat and spread the ball outside once the defense actually respects the run.

Some Bunch formations don't offer great runs. And a good User can contain the run himself.

That seems like a sorry excuse. If you can't get anything going use a different formation. A good user sure can stop the run sometimes. But there is simply no reason you can't win a 5:3 box the majority of the time. Most of the time there would be two giant holes to run through. Just pick the hole the opposing user isn't actively running towards and you'll win for a gain at a minimum of 5 yards. On top of that once you get to the second level the user is supposed to be guarding a giant section of the middle of the field which would now be vacant. I think this defense is pretty neat for pass coverage but it's pretty sad watching top players refuse to make basic football adjustments.

Why would he keep running Bunch against this defense.. Spreading everyone 4 wide..there's some Doubles Y-FLEX and Spread Y-Flex plays that would cook this defense... spreading your WRs and TE out is what makes this not work..having them bunched together is why Henry cooked him.

Because the gameplan he came in with was to run Bunch, can't just switch the gameplan mid game, he was cooked either way if he does that. Henry also has other defenses for different sets, he would've switched his defense if the opponent went spread.

Man coverage got cooked in nearly every game in this tournament. CROSSERS. People complained about those routes; and guess what? I don't care. I love seeing the meta bailout defense get exposed
