HOW Tereza learns and teaches languages and CAN I understand CZECH!?

Today we are talking with Tereza, a language lover and Czech teacher. Here you will find her channel, where she teaches Czech:
/ @talk.learn.enjoy.czec...
As always, thanks a lot to my Patreons and Ko-Fi supporters! :)
These are the topics we discuss about in the video, we even made an "experiment" to see if I could understand Czech:
00:00 - Tereza introduces herself and talks about her Czech teaching channel
02:44 - What is Tereza's job?
04:30 - What is her language learning method?
06:24 - Her thoughts on language certificates
09:26 - How does she maintain several languages?
11:15 - When would she say "she speaks a language"?
15:00 - How AI changes communication
16:14 - Can I understand Czech? Can you understand it?
Don't miss the video we made for her channel, there you can see how she tries to understand Catalan, among others. You will find it here:

I find these types of videos extremely useful! Because I think it’s not so obvious how to find single video resources with lots of interesting content in smaller languages. In addition, it’s inspiring to see how much people can achieve by just getting exposed to comprehensible input & let your brain start guessing.

Can't agree more. Focus is on oral communication, writing is less of a concern. Was wondering how possible someone could read, write , master grammar and not be understood when talking, that is quite extreme and must be super frustrating. Thanks for the video. Hope the " petit" break was long enough to re re-energize you. Que tinguis un bon dia Laura. Una abraçada !

The "petit" break was great, thanks 👍 Yeah, not being able to speak if you have mastered all other skills sounds a bit strange to me, I guess it is not that common, but who knows?

Czech is so underrated they do so much for such a small country they put much bigger countries to shame
