People keep the image of God to keep it as point of focus. Other people focus on building. Wat happens when these images get imprinted on mind whether it is form or formless. Once a person learns the art of focus, mind focusses then easier to go on spiritual journey. Yezhudis keep peacock. So these objects when constantly used point of focus they form imprint and they help us to get close to concept of God. Buildings, peacock, statues are all man made objects still we have to use it, not think tat as God. If we use to climb ladder to go higher doesn't mean ladder is God. Similar way statues, figurines help in spiritual accession like some people fly in vision on pagasus, some use angel gibrael, some use paecock. But God has an independent existence. And buddha has an independent existence on higher realms,. So people should be aware of both why statues are used in spiritual techniques, why buildings are used as point of focus. But tatbis not the intention of spirituality. They are just tools to help in spiritual accession

Afghans were never predominantly Hindus. They were mostly animists, Zoroastrians, Manichaean Christians, Buddhists, Polytheists & Shamans before they fell to Muslim army. Shamanism, Animinism were oldest religions before aryans conquered Persia (modern day Iran & Iraq) & northern region of Indian subcontinent In fact Hinduism is a blend of Vedic polytheism (aryan culture), shamanism (reverence of ancestors) & Indus Valley polytheism

But time has changed, we have evolved and now we can live in democracy with people believing in different faiths. The first one ‘Buddham Sharanam Gachchami’ denotes that the disciple is now surrendered to the Buddha, the enlightened one since this is the first step in any one’s spiritual journey. To surrender to the greatest philosopher, the Buddha, The awakened one. Next is ‘Dhammam Sharanam Gachchami’, the disciple now surrenders to the teachings of Buddha. The Cosmos equation. The law of nature. The law of creator. Mind you, no particular God or Goddess are referred here. Only Dhamma. The Cosmos law. The disciple has reached, he is now one with the Cosmos. The last and the third one is ‘Sangham Sharanam Gachchami’, Sangh of what, Sangh means the group, the group of what, the group of Buddhist monks. Those who have attained enlightenment till date, the group of them. A group where all enlightened ones becomes member when they attained this.The disciple now surrender to this group, the Sangha for expressing his gratitude that by being enlightened themselves, they have shown the way and made it possible for us to achieve the ultimate truth of happy and healthy life.

I'm Bangladeshi #Buddhist. I'm really thankful to you for this information. I really don't know about this before. After, hearing this i feel really sad. People do this kind of thing because they are #insecure with their religion. I hope, they will understand soon the TRUE meaning oof religion.

Pakistanis love Taliban, because of Taliban is Pakistan second Army! Water scarcity is bigger treat than Taliban in our Afghanistan before indo-afghan dam in Herat province, then India also helping us in Kabul ,shahtoot dam, if shahtoot dam successfully finished without terrorist attacks. then Which will provide 3 Millon Kabul residents with potable water and maybe generating electricity too! Then maybe Pakistan facing water crisis in Pakistan because Afghanistan don't have any water Sharing contract with Pakistan. So Taliban are freedom fighter? And they are fight against USA? So why they are cancer for afghan? Why? + USA didn't control over Afghanistan. Afghanistan has its own democratic government! And our Army and government control over Afghanistan! So the big question is : why Taliban attacking, destroying, killing our dams, school, collages, airports, telecommunications, our childrens& women and AFGHAN ARMY? WHY? Isn't enough to show Pakistan government supporting terrorism ? Because of water, natural resources,land? They don't want Afghanistan strong again, they only want Afghanistan still suffering refugee stage because Pakistan government receiving $ 200 Millon dollars for hosting afghan refugee from year side of the border ,they money investing in Pakistan not afghan refugees! Pakistan wants a puppet government in Afghanistan. Pakistani rulers have believed that Afghanistan is their own backyard or 5th province. when Pakistan created by Jonnah 1947 our Afghan government never accept Pakistan as country. Pakistan have been using Water of Afghanistan for 40 years free of cost as a result they help Terrorist groups to put Afghanistan in war and no one ask them about the cost of Water . If Afghanistan build more dams Pakistan will face droughts and famine.

@Mirak Alder Didn't you see destroyed Temple of Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh and Ram Mandir, Krishna Janmbhoomi and Kashi Vishwanath. My eyes were full of tears seeing that cause it's holy place for Hindus. Don't you feel goosebumps while seeing the Makkah city. Then why can't we build temple. When ever we want temple people sideline our choice and things. And when u guy's want Masjid in India you guy's can build in the name of secularism. Even 90% Arabian Muslim thinks Pakistani, Indian and Bangladeshi Muslims are fake and even the Babri Masjid. And if you take a more look you'll find Hindu Architecture Taj Mahal and since when did islamic people named a monument in the end "Mahal". Mahal is a frickin Sanskrit word. Do you know we found so many statue of Lakshmi, Vishnu Ganesh, Shivling and Ram while digging there. So if you don't know the History then stfu
