The Phoenix Force chose Jean due to her unlimited amount of psychic powers + she is the one true Phoenix. Jean is so underrated, her telepathy is so powerful that even the Professor himself stated that what she did in New X-men was impossible, even for an omega level mutant. And she can boost her telekinetic by telepathically siphoning psychic energy from others, even a race of an entire planet + Green Phoenix + Galactus and his herald at the same time. Jean is also the second X-men, the first was Storm or actually she was the reason the X-man was created which makes Jean the first X-man or woman lol

xavier met with jean when she was eleven years old, and before the other four founding members of the x-men (cyclops, iceman, beast, and angel). jean grey, however, did not officially join the team before those four founding members, despite xavier psychically training her since she was eleven (which is why he had no problem sending her to fight magneto in as soon as she arrived at the mansion). so, jean grey is technically the fifth founding member of the x-men.

There is something you forgot to mention about her she is also an empath and she could talk to animals. And she could change structures in subatomic level.

Only in the original X-Men cartoon. Thankfully, in X-Men Evolution, she was a *_much_* better written character. She was a strong and capable powerhouse that started the series as such, and only got exponentially stronger in terms of both character as well as raw power as the series went on.

This will be very exciting, I think she's in the black hole level of power since she can beat gladiator and knock out multiple telepaths by just being close to them

Respect Jean Grey, one of the most powerful female mutants of them all. Plus, she is THE patron saint of the X-Men. Point. Blank. Period.

The X-Men evolution show made me a fan of Jean Grey and I've been informed by a few people she's powerful even without the Phoinex and I'm sure this video will prove it.

Another feat with her telepathy was turning a brotherhood of evil mutants member into a hero for about a year. Of course she stopped it but She can very much make you think your a bunny for the rest of your life if she wanted to. At any point in time she could’ve ended mutant hate or even world peace. Imagine if the mutant telepaths were all villains. Professor Emma Jean Psylocke Kid Omega they could very much end the earth(human life) in an hour if they wanted not even an hour a minute.

It's already higher. I think this was established immediately after her resurrection in 2017 or even before that. Also, powerwise, Xavier is weaker than her as he isn't omega.

I blame the Fox movies and old 90s cartoon for convincing me for years that Jean was nothing without the Phoenix. Even by herself, she’s already arguably the most powerful of the X-Men and an anomaly even among other Omega-level Mutants.

See literally looks like herself but pink. Anodites are purple taffy with long hair. And she's more like charmcaster since she she controls all mana and killed Gwen twice and could have killed her when again. At least grandma verdona. But anodites can be controled (dagon) and siphoned machine species. And verdona's feats were not star level. Dagon statement isn't cannon because each Ben 10 contradicts the other and it was Ben Who beat him without Gwen. And Alien X. Insulting Jean like that. Go to a Wanda video or something
