Just a bit of extra info as a leather hobbyist: In leatherwork, the word clicking is used rather than cutting because even though the leather is being cut by a machine, the blade stamps onto the leather sheet and makes a clicking noise in the process.

Sperry makes the absolute best boat shoes on the market, they are pretty much the official shoe of downtown Charleston, South Carolina & I myself have as many pairs pf Sperry's as sneakerheads have Air Jordans…

is it full-grain leather or just genuine leather? And in the Philippines, the outsole isn't glued on, it's sewed on, so it lasts longer.

The cheaper ones are probably "genuine" leather, which is the cheaper one. The made in main ones are probably full grain

That's why i choose to buy an original shoes than a fake one, because it is made engineered with authentic materials and it is durable.🙂❤

Quality

All throughout university, I wore Timberland boat shoes all the time!!!! One time in grad school, I wore them all day and walked from downtown Manhattan to uptown and like the next day my feet were killing me as the boat shoes had no support ☹️

I’m in a lower middle class and my mom is the only one that works and she has an office job and yet I love my sperrys so no they’re not just for lawyers over privileged kids

@@c.g.c2067 wages are always going to keep prices for made in the USA products higher. Rancourt actually makes shoes for several brands, so they have scale.

I wish they fit as well as they are made. I had to return two diff sizes because they were still too wide. The regular gold cup of $175 fits me much better, quite sadly
