A huge thank you to the amazing, awe-inspiring space doctors who explained their analogue space missions:

I thoroughly enjoyed this video. Hope the algorithm gives it a second chance sooner or later.
I'm all for billionair space travel! (we just have to find a way we can prevent them from coming back somehow)
I am rooting for you!
I used to want to see the earth from space, but I know I could not handle the discipline required to go as part of the major space agencies, but I loved pictures of earth taken by astronauts, especially the Apollo photos, I actually wrote a letter to Edgar Mitchel and he wrote back to me with a handwritten and signed letter, which I thought was really noble of him, considering my letter to him had things written about me looking at their photographs while under the influence of LSD and magic mushrooms, he actually valued my insights, I kind of lost the interest in wanting to see earth from space when I had a big Eureka moment, on LSD, I was staring up at the stars and realised for real, for the first time, that we are actually in space, on a planet surrounded by space, very odd, it affected me a lot.
I'm pretty sure sarcasms a necessity for all astronauts. Great Video and good luck with the application 👍
I can't believe this most hilarious video didn't tickle the algorithm. I had to stop it to laugh, and then share it with the person in the next room to explain why I was laughing.

Absolute legend M L crisis
6:20 That is one of the best quotes I have ever read
IIRC, the height requirement is what prompted Massimino to retire once the shuttles stopped flying. He's 6'4", which is enormous for an astronaut, and I'm not sure they could get him in or out of a Soyuz without the jaws of life. Also IIRC, the Mercury 13 ended up passing a more rigorous set of exams, mostly because the examiners so resented them that they cranked up the difficulty insane levels. Ex. the men had to endure being put into a sensory deprivation chambers for a little under an hour, but they pretty much put the women in there and left the building for a few hours. The women still passed all of the exams. I hope they pick you -- and I think you stand a better chance than you think. You can't possibly be more irritating in close quarters than ANY military pilot. :-)
Bumping this video. Hope it helps
Would be very interested to hear some detail about the personality/psychological profile that they look for.
I’m sorry this didn’t do well. I watched it through and it was really cool.
I popped by because I was wondering what you’d been up after seeing your comment on a _Jay Foreman_ video about longitude. Interesting to see your perspective on space medicine. I think KZread promoting popular creators’ comments is iffy but yo!

Your reading of Kepler was amazing. That guy sure had some... opinions.
Well, excluding her slightly higher age, Hanna Reitsch was an extremely capable female military test pilot who would have performed with excellence as an astronaut. Though people tend not to mention her very much.. I wonder why? :P Okay, maybe there may have been some very good political reasons..
I wish you good luck!
