Carnivore has healed so much for me! I started off carnivore in hopes to reverse my fibrocystic breast masses that have built up over 6 years eating half a dry skinless chicken breast piece a day with half cup of broccoli and little bit of wheat noodles. We are told don’t eat very much meat- so the world is almost vegan just about. I would eat red canbbage too- cooked it and ate cabbage about 3 times a week. That was about it. So I was mainly chicken, broccoli, and little wheat noodles. So from age 40-46 I started getting all that “aging” health issue mess- and the fibrocystic breast “disease” started and kept building up! When I hit age 46 I was done with it! The fibrocystic masses were getting me scares- and I started getting huge painful breast cysts too! One was around 2” long and 1” wide! Docs would say, “we don’t know what causes fibrocystic breasts disease” and “fibrocystic breasts is now normal because everyone is getting it” and “fibrocystic breast could turn into cancer” and “there is nothing you can do for fibrocystic breasts” and “diet doesn’t cause fibrocystic breasts!” I was gaining weight too and by summer of 2022 I hit perimenopause at age 46 and got every symptom you could think of. My joints were hurting too, no sleep at night, dizzy at times, it was ridiculous! I know it had to be diet! Little did I know that all the other health issues I had all my life, in addition to this mess listed above, was all due to diet! I went searching online and found the truth of my fibrocystic problem! Found out cruciferous veggies (broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, and asparagus) are all cruciferous veggies that block natural iodine absorption found in foods! And if you become depleted in iodine it messes up your thyroid which controls all- even hormones! And all organs need iodine including breasts! They swell if you are deficient! And I read these cruciferous veggies can cause cancer due to lack of iodine in body since they block absorption! Bingo! We are all being told to eat cruciferous veggies, that they can prevent cancer, and to eat lots of it including broccoli!! But in fact they are causing cancer and I truly feel it is causing all the fibrocystic breast cases that have been escalating lately that we are seeing! When I post about this and ladies write back saying they too had fibrocystic breasts, I ask, “do you eat cruciferous veggies, especially broccoli” and they all have said, “YES!” I did more research and found carnivore! I Jumped right in! In 6-8 weeks I lost 45 pounds! My perimenopause reversed! In fact don’t even get PMS symptoms and my cycle is perfectly paced! And so much more reversed that I started writing it down! And yes, my fibrocystic breast masses shrank! I share my progress because I want people to see how carnivore can heal so much and most of these things are commonly healed for many, not just me! I want to help and this is how I do- by sharing. No I am not paid to do this, I just want to help people see and be aware of what carnivore can do! I do update this list as I have been on carnivore (more lion diet version) for 1 year, 2 months, and 1 week now. I feel this has helped so many decide if they should try carnivore. I always say go watch Dr. Baker, Dr. Chaffee, and Dr. Berry- my three most favorite doctors. They are truly amazing! I call them my carnivore doctors! ☺️ * No more perimenopause- completely reversed! *Period cycles all timed perfect with 4 week intervals. And no PMS symptoms, but only the actual menstrual cycle itself! *No more night sweats *No more waking every 2 hours at night! *It used to take me 20 minutes or longer to fall asleep at night when I would first go to bed at night- before carnivore. Now it takes like a minute or less. Haven’t noticed since I am out fast! *No more life long eczema *No more cold hands (may have been Reynold’s disease, never diagnosed.) *No more cold body temp in general! Used to feel like a reptile - only warm in texas sun. (may have been Raynaud’s disease, never diagnosed.) *No more IBS symptoms (gas, bloating, stomach pain, constipation, diarrhea) *No more feeling low energy by 12pm and zombie by 4pm *No more purple looking hands in winter (may have been Raynaud’s disease, never diagnosed.) *No more brain fog *No more arthritis that I felt in hands, knees, and hips- or elbows *used to have sore hips when sleeping on my side. No more! *Lost 45+ pounds from former baby weight and peri menopause weight. *Always had 20/20 vision with slight stigmatism- but in March doctor said my stigmatism is reversing! *Don’t sunburn as easily anymore and tan well. *Wrinkles around eyes seem to be much less. I am 47 and look like I am in early 30’s. *Gums look super healthy. Dentist seems irritated as my teeth are not dirty when cleaning every six months. Think they know they won’t make money off me. *No more sore chest from monthly periods- no swelling feeling of fullness or discomfort that prevented me from sleeping on my stomach. Now I sleep every night on my stomach! *Fibrocystic Breast issues reversing! Almost all gone after 6 years of buildup! *no cravings unless they are for meat *no more angina symptoms before a period- which started about 3 years ago. *No more feeling weak like almost passing out and dizzy around ovulation and periods when walking around. * no more fingers swelling- that started a few years ago- rings kept being tight- is pattern I noticed. One ring I had resized larger and it’s super loose now. Will have to resize smaller. *feel stronger- now lifting barbells not just hands weights. Dr. Baker said since I am 46, and 5’7” at 122lbs- need more resistance training to add more muscle weight. . So bought a 47lb barbell off Amazon and have 90 extra pounds added to it. Will continue to progress with that. *Before carnivore- i had started growing grey hairs in one of my eyebrows, few hairs at a time, but no grey in my blonde hair yet - but assumed it was coming. Now on carnivore I have had no new grey hairs growing in eye brows and still no grey hair in my natural blonde hair. And in the sun it gets super light highlights. * no more body odor! * I used to get a little anxiety with large crowds- like if attending special events- but since on carnivore I don’t get it that much. *I was a bit OCD before carnivore, but so much more relaxed so barely like that. * I was a relaxed person before, but somehow am even more relaxed and never stress about things. *Since I was a young child my sense of smell has been terrible. But not even a month in on carnivore my sense of smell has gone crazy! I smell things even far away! Amazing! *no more allergies! I was allergic to cedar and oak pollens- and mold- but since carnivore I am no longer reacting to those outdoor pollens which is amazing! * I have had no more issues from ear wax build up. Had it twice after having kids and docs would say it was a hormonal problem. Carnivore cured that too! *Veins in my arms look healthier. They were almost invisible before. *Legs no longer hurt on longer road trips or plane rides! *I used to get a popping sounds in my right shoulder when lifting weights. Was probably a pulled ligament. That is now gone! *I have been lactose intolerant since I was a kid, and I feel my nails are a bit stronger than before. They do break if I catch them on things but I feel they are getting stronger on carnivore. *My teeth look more white on carnivore. *My blood pressure has improved on carnivore. 6 years before carnivore up to starting carnivore my blood pressure was increasing. Now on carnivore it is back to normal like when I was younger. Last reading it was 100/75 which is awesome! *i used to get eye twitches in my eye lids, but that is gone. * at times when trying to fall asleep I would close my eyes and at times felt dizzy like falling feeling or spinning. But haven’t has that since I have been on carnivore for 12 months. *the skin on the heals of my feet are no longer cracked and dry! *little leak from sneezing or coughing that ladies get from estrogen dominance is gone on carnivore! Hormones balanced so no more estrogen dominance! *The top inner corner of both my larger toes have felt a little numb for years. Never had it diagnosed. But being 1 year on carnivore I no longer feel that numbness! My nerves have healed in that spot on both toes! Crazy! *My slightly receding gums behind my center bottom front teeth have rebuilt so gums all over are super healthy! I have flossed daily for years, but gums look even healthier! *my skin on my face isn’t as oily as it used to be. *My hair used to be super oily if not washed daily, but carnivore has regulated my hair so I can now go days without having to wash it- doesn’t get oily after one day like before! (Newest update added!) So there you go! ☺️ I hope this helps people on their journey to find out what works for them! Carnivore is working for everyone that tries. And I see it reversing just about everything! Go watch Dr. Baker, Dr. Chaffee, and Dr. Berry! And go visit Kerry’s channel at Homesteadhow! We love him too! ☺️ He is so passionate and has inspiring energy and quite the entertaining character! ☺️

I have had almost identical results, but spread over the last 14 years as ketovore then carnivore. I had five heart cardioversions in my 50s with no prognosis for improvement. Went keto in 2009 and complete remission since. Sleep apnea pretty much the same story. I was a fit athlete and "eating right" on whole foods plant based, but my life was in jeopardy. 100% health now and medication free. The Health Scare System lost a customer to carnivore, which is why they will fight back with their massive resources (e.g. recent Harvard "study" accusing red meat of causing diabetes.) Beef saves lives.

I am a 78-year-old male. In many ways, I'm typical during my younger years, especially in my 20s. I could eat just about anything, and I felt good. I was healthy. I remember being in the Navy; sometimes, I would have weekend liberty. I would rent a hotel room with special rates for service people, and one of my favorite things to do was buy a dollar's worth of candy bars. In 1966, you could buy ten candy bars for a dollar, which were about the same size as today. And I enjoyed sometimes being by myself and having a room and television set all to myself. So I would eat all ten candy bars over the weekend and other standard American diet burgers and fries. I felt great, and at the end of the weekend, I put on my size 31 waist uniform and returned to my ship. As I got into my 30s and 40s, I experienced the same middle-aged weight gain as most people. In my 50s, I developed a nasty case of ulcerative colitis; the doctors told me I would have it for life, and the best we could do was manage it. I spent a miserable year at 54 trying to do what the medical establishment told me. Finally, in desperation, I turned to the Internet and found the Atkins diet against medical advice. I did it anyway because their pills weren't Helping. I eventually threw all the drugs away and went on Atkins, and within six months, my colitis was gone. After that, however, I started developing gout. The medical establishment blamed all the Meat I was eating, never once thinking it could be anything else. I used to love to sauté lots of spinach and cauliflower, but they're healthy, right? They couldn't possibly be causing my gout. I quit the Atkins diet and started eating the standard American diet again. I went up to over 260 pounds, felt terrible, and lived that way until I was about 70. The great thing about the ketogenic diet is that it has the correct fat ratio compared to early Atkins, about 65% fat to 35% protein. A few years ago, I accidentally stumbled upon you and Dr. Barry; I started following his advice. What a difference! I now weigh 175; my testosterone went from 2 to over 10. The best thing is that it's relatively easy. The only tricky part is when you go to friends and family to have dinner, they look at you weirdly when you say, All I want is Meat, and then I usually get some comment like that diet can't be healthy...My reply is that I feel great, and my clothes fit a lot better, at least the new smaller ones I bought; that usually ends the conversation. I'm one of those rare people in their late 70s who take zero medications. The best medication is a good ribeye steak. And I don't use any of those blue pills either.

I have been keto/ carnivore for a couple of years. Twice in the last few months I have made Pizza for my children, and I had a couple of slices on those occasions (pretty much the only infraction of my keto diet). On the same nights as I had the pizza, but on no other occasions; I woke in the night with a racing heart, my fitbit was notifying me of atrial fibrilation, and I had clocked up 14 active minutes on my fitbit while lying in bed.

I am dabbling in carnivore, I have 3 episodes of Afib. Tomato sauces and processed meat on pizza has caused me palpitations. Tomato juice gave me palpitations, not straight up Afib from those foods though. If you ever do it again, try to supplement "Heart Calm" that contains magnesium, potassium, and taurine. Eating that ahead of the pizza makes it a lot easier to tolerate, makes my heart happier. I am carnivore breakfast now and trying to reduce carbs at supper. Will likely go full carnivore some day....

Salt- I have CIRS from living in mold. I've had it for 40 years but only became very sick 10 years ago. I always wanted tons and tons of salt on my food and I've craved salty foods all my life. Since getting diagnosed with CIRS, I looked into getting remediation done. Before that I had covid which exacerbated all my symptoms and worsened VEGF and MMP9. My ADH tanked to below 1, so constant thirst, constant supplementing with major amounts of electrolytes. After getting the mold out of my home, I suddenly wanted a lot less salt on my food. Now my food tends to taste a little too salty sometimes. My ADH is still very low but definitely not as thirsty and cut my magnesium supplement in half. Keep telling people about CIRS, Judy!

I get that people feel strongly about not eating animals, but animals bring us the gift of meat. How ungrateful would we be to turn our backs on that gift? To reject what they give? Of course we need to honor the gift and care for all living things, and never abuse or denigrate them. But we should not deny our friends, the animals, their role in this big, crazy, circle of life.

While I can totally appreciate all of his health improvements but I need to add that I hear in most of his videos how his OSA was cured. That, for him, may very well be the case but it is not the case for all. Just because your AHI’s decrease doesn’t mean your apnea is cured. The THERAPY may be the reason your events are lowered. I was diagnosed with severe OSA in early 2020, at the age of 57 and my symptoms had drastically increased post menopause, started APAP therapy and immediately saw improvements, and yes the snoring stopped. First follow up with sleep lab saw a little increase in pressure to get better control and it’s been fine ever since. If I nod off, let’s say, watching tv, I’ll snort myself awake within a couple of minutes so that tells me I still have it. I do have about 40-50# to loose but I also very much realize that weight loss may not cure my OSA. I just don’t like his strong insinuation that carnivore cures OSA and unfortunately that’s what I take away from his comments every time I hear it.

I find it odd that non human carnivore species are not similarly subjected to the vegan imperative. Why aren’t humans afforded same regard? Is there some sort of self denial or self loathing involved? Just wondering.

I’m an ex vegan/vegetarian and it’s really triggering to hear parents allow their children to just eat cauliflower everyday causing extreme fatigue 😢 it’s not a virtue to allow malnutrition. Sorry but lily’s 5 years of lack of guidance by her parents makes me very sad. Veganism should be banned for under 18s 😢 isn’t a parents basic function to provide a diet that sustains a child’s energy requirements? 😢

This is such a deceiving video. If you look at this guy's channel you will see that all the benefits that he is attributing to carnivore, he actually gain on keto. In his video two years ago you will see that everything he is saying for carnivore, he was saying for keto two years ago. Except some additional weight, he didn't cure anything with carnivore as it seems. But keto doesn't get him that many views as carnivore content, so salesman will do the sale on whatever is popular. I'm not saying carnivore doesn't help in some cases, but let's be honest about what it does for who. You really should research people that you invite to your talks, because it diminishes your credibility on everything you say you have researched. And people mostly won't hear "we are all different part", they will just think "blindly" this worked for those people, why is not working for me. They can seriously injure their health, more than it already is. I recently discovered your channel and watched just some of your videos. They made much more sense than most of them out there, but with content like this I just start questioning the rest.

While Carnivore works great for my friend, I did it for 3 months with dangerous results. High blood pressure, insomnia and always feeling like I was about to pass out.

I think you are being a bit hard on Kerry. We are all different. In my experience keto was great, but carnivore is better, provided I stay mostly in ketosis. I lost most of my excess weight on keto, but only got properly on top of digestive pain and joint pain and migraines with carnivore. My blood sugar is also more consistent, I feel better and after years of chronic fatigue including long Covid my energy levels have transformed. My sleep is also much better. after 2 years of inconsistent carnivore I am still improving, and the improvements correlate with the patches of consistency and strictness. Kerry is a great storyteller and I find that both his Keto and Carnivore journey stories are believable and consistent with the experiences of others. Judy, thank you for the great interview of Kerry.

I did keto and did really well with my blood work and weight loss. I got bored so went to Carnivore, blood sugar got better but got bored with MEAT ALL THE TIME! I have done them both with success. I am going back to Keto. I think you need to do your own research to see what works best for you. As to the Video’s, like Judy said, it’s good to get anecdotal information from individuals as motivation but you need to do what’s best for you. I personally never heard of this guy or his story! I have heard many good speakers, doctors, researchers, nutritionists on Judy’s stream. I just take everything with a grain of salt, pun intended! Best of luck

I'm not talking here about whether keto or carnivore is better, they both work, I'm just annoyed by someone eating one way and getting the results, then saying he got those results by eating the other way just because that gets more views. That's just straight up lying, which you expect from big companies, not ordinary people. Who cares if you got better with some plants in your diet, the most important thing is that you got better, just why lie about it now?

@@honeyfunk It all depends how you do keto. If you look at the "modernization" of keto with all the keto treats and other nonsense, there is no way you are in ketosis. The diet is called a ketogenic diet, which means high fat, so you can use ketones as fuel. Adding a few plants here and there won't jeopardize that, but all the keto treats and keto cookies will. People say they are eating some diet but if you look at what they actually eat it has nothing to do with the basic principles of the diet. After all James Blunt said he was eating carnivore and got scurvy,, which there is no way to get it if you eat right. Even Kerry in this video said that his daughter was vegan, and then when she was hungry he said she asked for cauliflower. That's not a vegan diet, that's malnutrition at best, and starving yourself to death at worst.
