3 month is not soon enough I was back in Hospital in three days with what my doctor thought was infectious pneumonia, I never cultured and the 3rd day he called in a pulmonologist Dr, East Pulled the junk right away! I now have less that 40% lung function because of Amiodarone induced pneumonitis!

why would amio be prescribed when there is no history og defib?I had a double bypass after heart failure- it was still pumping, and I called the ambulance myself. Had an aggravating cough until two weeks after leaving hospital

How long after bi pass surgery would you keep a patient on 200mg amiodarone? Would you wean a patient off of it, if so after how long, what tests would you need done to show they do not need it any more? How would you wean them of of Amiodarone? What dose of atorvastatin is best for a patient who is on Amiodarone?
