This is great singing!

I didn't realize she had facility in dramatico- coloratura repertoir. She sings forcefully and beautifully. I heard her do a beautiful Ballo in Maschera in Birmingham, England in about 1975. This was at her height, when she did Ring Cycles as well. What an artist!

Simply AMAZING. I need to point out she’s using chestvoice even in the cabaletta which few manage to do in the middle of the ”acrobatics”. Supreme singing…

More music that I probably wouldn't have gone out of my way to hear! But well sung and I have to pinch myself that this is from the singer I believe to have been the finest Wagnerian soprano of her (and possibly any) generation. Your recordings have shown her remarkable versatility!

That was a wonderful night of opera in New Orleans. If I’m not mistaken Ferrucio Furlanetto made his U.S. debut as Zacaria in this performance

For this performance, I am pretty certain it was Norman Anderson. However, in the other performances, I am not sure. When I get to those cassettes, we will know!
