I feel the conductor has to keep the momentum and excitement but also allow the singer to breathe a little and get the notes out. Can't be easy for a singer high up on a set, stood at an angle trying to keep up with a conductor galloping along.

The young Bass-Baritone in the video, Le Bu, is one of most talented young singers nowadays!!! Hopefully we'll hear him too in a lead role soon 🤩

What am I looking at? (I know it's supposed to be Abigaille's cavatina, but it's not.)

Is this really the Met? In the past 10-15 years mostly everything that the Met has showcased were C-class singers

I think the men tend to be better. Personally I think the casting of sopranos at the Met is very odd.

Saw it live last night. She was phenomenal. The audience loved her.

Another Soprano with no chest and a mediocre job fo this cabaletta at best. Pretty much standard for the Met these days.

I thought the Met was supposed to be the cream of the crop? This is among the worst performances I have evert heard. Embarrassing and not worth paying money tor.

爛透了，大都會歌劇院淪落到這種爛歌手都可以上台的地步了嗎?而且出於"尊重"歌手，我猜現在的觀眾已經不敢boo了，這是一個惡性循環，導致歌手越來越不會反省精進，以前的觀眾可是會丟節目單呢
