The old Mojang didn’t fix it because people liked it. The new Mojang fixes it because they don’t like it in their game. They are slowly un-sandboxing minecraft. In turn, doing this makes it easier to monetize. :/

It actually is a setting. Falling blocks can be given a 'Persistent' tag to make them last forever

@@atsizbalikno, the falling blocks have a life span, this video got it correct, it also happens when theirs no place for the falling block to turn into a normal block, but suspicious blocks break if they try to place down.

I do that but instead of bubble elevators I use shulkers, they do tend to get annoying due to teleporting but by going up and down they give the effect of moving sand and the cobwed gives it the efficency.

The quality of production of these Minecraft videos is crazy

I honestly wish they didn't fix that because it wasn't an issue in the first place

If i remember right as long as the suspicious sand and Gravel doesnt become a solid block again and instead drops itself the item it has inside is perserved. Cause if they fall and become a new block the item they have inside is destoryed.

This is exactly what I did when working on my “every collectable item” challenge as soon as I heard it was possible

I made some with commands about a decade back. It used FallingSand riding Armor Stands. I think there's still a way to do it using new features now but I haven't tried yet.

Back in the good old days there was a trick that i hope works now You do a hold and place floating fences from different types so they wont connect and than you drop floating falling sand on it by using 2 blocks high flowers and it works like a charm
