That dual camera stall glitch is so cool, can’t believe I’d never heard of that. I always thought it was weird that no one ever talked about how phone guy says you can stall them in the cameras, I just assumed it wasn’t actually implemented because of how rushed FNAF 2 was, like how shadow Freddy and the endo rare screens are meant to turn to static and disappear but the code for it is broken

The interesting part about Minus 7 is that it completely removes Blackouts as a Fnaf 2 Mechanic since all the animatronics who can trigger it are now stunlocked on various cameras

This is actually generally incorrect. There were stories and other games that were scarier, FNAF just used a unique formula that set it apart.

waitwaitwait - when you brought up that the cam lights stun the FNAF 2 animatronics, that means in FNAF SB the fazcam and fazerblaster stunning the glamrocks isn't actually new made-up nonsense like I thought it was. i always thought that was a new FazEnt bug in their bots for 'new innovative gameplay' in a 3d enviroment, but its been in them for a long while. thats fucking sick tbh.

6:05 what’s so funny is that when I first did 10/20 mode in Fnaf 2, I used the mask on bb, after he leaves, toy Bonnie is at the vent and I flipped the camera up by accident but had a withered chica black out and toy Bonnie was gone afterwards and I didn’t even know toy Bonnie can leave after a blackout not from Also congrats on 7 minus and big W vid

The fact that the answer was right in front of us this whole time yet it took us a whole decade to finally get it lol. FNAF 2 truly is a masterpiece even with its grueling difficulty, and its a testament to how infamous yet fun a game can be at the same time

I like how fnaf2 became a much better game without recieving any updates. Games truly are a growing organism.

I always found they can track the intervals and "breaking the game" very astonishing. It's like the game wasn't supposed to be played like this, but it's the "optimal strategy" for it's challenger

I already loved you but when you added my boi Ambience into the mix, I grinned, especially since he really was spitting facts. RNGesus can be a real bastard sometimes and FNAF 2 is one of the best examples of his cruelty. I'm glad the Almighty Algorithm helped me find your channel and I'm looking forward to what else you have to share with us. I'm a FNAF fan for the LORRREEE mainly but if I ever start playing the games, you're gonna be one of my go-tos to get help. ❤️

Honestly RNG manipulation is one of my favorite concepts in the world of playing video games better by playing them wrong. There's a deep sense of satisfaction to taking something meant to oppose you, and making it do your bidding. I guess deep down we're all warlords

I'm all for eliminating luck, but this is so far beyond my skill level that I'll just deal with the dice rolls if I ever actually play fnaf 2.

So glad I could be watching the stream when you won. My heart was racing dude

im actually not too surprised, (and yet at the same time.. im surprised that someone finally took notice to the animatronic flashlight stalling mechanic for a 10/20 run) some years back when i was playing on an ios device, i discovered they could all be stalled with the 3 very cams shown in the video, (altho i didn't know you could glitch cam the cam for the whithered animatronics) the problem was.. that i didn't think it was a very viable strategy with BB causing a huge interruption, but it does kinda make a 9/20 mode much easier (ie 10/20 without BB) if you can manage the cams that fast I had a slight feeling that if it the cam stalling was at all doable on 10/20.. that BB would be a very tight window to deal with (which i just couldn't get down much) and now it's finally here! as a strategy i felt like i was one of few who knew this stuff but i didn't know for sure that it could be a viable strategy (well.. viable for top pros) (yeah.. that camera and BB management is lightning fast tho..) (for ios tho.. all that management is really kinda all over the place without a timer, and i can and did set a separate timer but its kinda annoying/hard to setup and perfectly sync with the night, rip mobile users, but ig we at least still have other strats)

i always thought about that one phone guy line about stunning the animatronics and wondered why no one ever actually tried that knowing that it's a 6 second stun is kinda crazy, not only is that really strong but it also may be a good argument as to why using the cameras in fnaf 2 actually has some use

I'll always put fnaf 2 at or near the top of any fnaf tear list Mostly because I don't consider 20 modes when ranking them because even in later fnaf games the max modes were afterthoughts that weren't really meant to be beatable. The gameplay otherwise just feels really good and it's the only fnaf game that makes me feel any sense of tension

Always loved how this side of the fan base appears to be the most mature, ironic considering it’s the part that focuses on the Actual gameplay of the games

It's honestly really interesting that the one strategy that eliminates RNG from FNaF 2, the game that's infamous for making the cameras borderline unnecessary and useless... actually relies on camera usage due to a mechanic that most folks didn't know about. Kinda makes me wish that Scott had put a bit more emphasis on stalling some of the animatronics with the cameras in this game.

28:27 lil correction, this soundeffects starts when someone is starting to atack, also sounds if any other animatronic is right before entering the vents, if you notice, when Toy Chica is alone in the hallway, this sound will not start

Salt is interesting because his videos are usually less about the tech of a game and more the people and culture surrounding it. But it's largely still the framework that makes it entertaining - a good mix of information, commentary, and montages can do a lot

Toy Bonnie ended so many of my runs at this. If he doesn't react to the mask right away, I just take the mask off, flash foxy then put the mask back on. The music Box... hope I have enough time. Note: This saved me after failing to get rid of Toy Chica... TWICE!

The last time I played Fnaf 2, I couldn't get passed Night 4 because the game kept "forcing" a loss on me. Everything that could go wrong, went wrong - every time.

The video us amazing, but i want to talk about how insane the ending on your minus 7 run was. That was as good as markplier fnaf 1 4/20 completion.

i have beaten fnaf 2 three times ( my first console run on my channel for proof) and i ranked it my favorite out of every other fnaf game

It took me about 4 hours with shooters strat when I first completed it, but I didn't really understand the game as well as I do now, I just rebeat it for this comment in about 30 minutes. Minus 7 took me about 6.5 hours

Question. For the -3 strat, instead of stalling the Withereds in Parts and Services, could you instead stall the Toys and thus, completely remove Toy Bonnie from the equation?

Unfortunately no, the reason minus 3 works is because you don’t need to flash the withereds to stall them as long as your looking at their camera, it works the exact same as Freddy in Fnaf 1. however the toy animatronics do require flashed meaning that you can’t stall them if you get a blackout at any point during the night

The way it took 10 years for people to find an "RNG-less" solution to the gameplay loop only speaks volumes how effective Scott was in his design.
