How Pizzeria Simulator Works: Full Game Breakdown

Ойындар

How Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator works is difficult to figure out, even once you've beaten the game. It's also my favourite game from the Clickteam series, so I just had to make this video!
I hope this video will serve as a helpful resource for anyone looking to learn how FFPS works and a huge thanks to Folmic and others for giving me feedback; I appreciate it a ton ♥

If you're wondering if the game functioned any differently in older versions, it did! Check out the changelog here: docs.google.com/document/d/1g...
FAQ:
Q: What's the optimal strategy for the office section?
A: Honestly, I don't know. All I can do is give you my strategy, which definitely isn't the best.
What I do is start with the Motion Detector, place an audio lure at the far middle where the most of them are, and start doing the Advertising tasks. Once I hear any vent noises, I quickly turn on Silent Ventilation, turn to the source of the noise, and turn everything off. I then turn to the opposite vent every 4 seconds until there aren't any noises in a bit.
Once I'm satisfied that there are no animatronics near me, I turn the computer back on and repeat.
Also, honestly, don't be scared of having your temperature go up into the 100 or 110+ range, having the fan on when in danger is really bad (quintuples the chances you'll get caught by an animatronic behind you).
Q: How does the Fruit Punch/Lemonade Clown work?
A: I didn't break down how the minigames work in this video (for obvious reasons), but I can quickly explain this one.
At the start of the game, each child chooses a direction to start moving. That child will continue facing that direction until they get near the edge of the screen, at which point they turn in the opposite direction. Every second, every child chooses one of three speeds to move: stationary, 10 pixels/second, or 20 pixels/second. Once you press the spacebar to surprise the kids, it will count how many kids were touching the range circle, and give you the jackpot if you got all 9.
Q: Is there any cheap way to get El Chip?
A: Unfortunately, no. Your only hope would be getting a good mark-down, though that's just luck. I would recommend doing the first three achievements. They reward a substantial amount of money, far exceeding the cost.
Q: How do you get the Insanity Ending on console/mobile?
A: I can't say I've personally tested these methods, but others have said they work.
On console, you need to:
- turn off the PC
- spam both the right joystick and the monitor on button
On mobile, you need to:
- turn off the PC
- hold down on the blue bottom left power button
- let go of the power button and very quickly turn the PC on (you might not need to let go)
Q: Is FFPS, FNaF6?
A: Yeah, it sure seems so.

I must thank you, I had never even played a Fnaf game before I saw your guide, so I booted up the first game after the first video and beat it all first try, then used your 4/20 strategy, did it again. I sadly don’t own a good pair of headphones so I decided I should probably skip the 4th game. Yet for this I think I’m definitely going to play this game and hopefully beat it so I can see that badass end of the main Scott cawthon series. I consider everything after custom night to be alternative timeline or universe purely so the badassery of this games ending stands.

Yeah that was horrifying to me (in a good way). I had assumed his body was dead and he was possessing his own corpse/suit. But this implies that his body still lives despite the odds… does he still feel it? If his heart works, then do his nerves still transmit pain as well? Can he feel the grinding of metal against his flesh after all this time? Can he feel the scorching of the flames? Is it just as agonizing as when he died and he just got used to it? Maybe (from an in-game perspective) he didn’t talk in FNaF 3 because he wasn’t used to it yet. Maybe the pain was so horrible he was rendered completely unable to speak. If that’s the case, if his body still functions despite it all, that is truly a fate worse than death.

Some random insights I've gained from this that I find interesting/amusing: -Possibly due to a programming error or two, the vents to the right side of your office are _very slightly_ more dangerous than those to the left side. -There may have been plans for a fifth animatronic in this game, but if there were, then it was cut VERY early on in development. -The optimal times to taze an animatronic is when it enters its third "stage" visually (if you're playing it safe), or when you start hearing its ambient audio (if you want to be risky). -The fact that the salvage sequences are codenamed "interrogation" in the game files may indicate that at some point, it was considered to have more dialogue in these parts. -The game is considerate and will not allow you to buy items that you literally cannot use with the current state of your Pizzeria. -There's a surprising amount of RNG in this game, even _outside_ the usual FNAF gameplay. But that makes sense as running a business involves a lot of risk management!

  • @FrostDirt

Honestly we should all still agree that FFPS will and always will be the official true end of FNAF no matter what especially after with Security Breach. And while it did have its flaws it still definitely helped wrapped things up pretty well from William’s victims finally being set free, to Micheal Afton being forgiven, and most importantly William Afton himself getting schooled hard. Despite that though I still think the whole salvaging animatronics and building your own pizzeria is still a cool idea that Scott Cawthon could do by creating something pretty new and engaging for the fans.

I always felt that Pizzeria Simulator was the weirdest of the old FNAF games when it comes to actual gameplay. The animatronics in most FNAF games usually have a particular behavior or mechanic associated with them. This is the only game where all of the animatronics act the same way and I think that’s genuinely a shame because the Salvage sections are such a cool way to introduce animatronics yet completing them doesn’t really change the office gameplay much.

  • @GaiaX5

    @GaiaX5

    Ай бұрын

Not to mention the Loremaster and Insanity certificates. Two things the player isn't really meant to see, explaining the weirdness. The tycoon segment is a glimpse to the chain's morbid history. During the day it's just your seemingly normal pizzaria. At night the salvaged anamatronics start hunting you down, with Lefty being the one in perfect condition compared to the others, who are worse for wear. Molten Freddy, Scrap Baby, and Scraptrap are salvaged anamatronics from the previous entries: FNAF2, FNAF3, and Sister Location, respectively. As in: This feels like one big middle finger to MatPat in a friendly rivalry.

It might have even been planned before the other consequence. Maybe it would increase in difficulty as you accepted more ads instead of as nights progress. Just a thought, could be totally wrong

This explains so much for me thank you. When playing Pizzeria sim, I never truly understood the AI of the animatronic and was just relying on a certain strategy which I don't understand how it works, I just know that it works. Basically I first I play an audio on either of the sides in the middle box closest to the big square in the middle, After that I go do a task and face the opposite vent of where the audio is and when I hear the task has finished I turn back to the computer and click on a new task and face back. If I hear a noise in the current vent I'm currently staring at, I turn off the fan and stare and wait until there's no more noise, which then I turn back the fan on and do task. If I hear a noise in the opposite vent I'm currently staring at, I turn both the pc and fan off, if a task is processing I turn the fan off first and then the pc once the task has finished. I then look at each vent at least 4-5 seconds 2-3 times each and once then I turn the pc and the fan back on and repeat. This seriously clears up some confusion, my main one being as to why having both the fan and the pc off was so gosh darn effective when using the light. Also answering my question to, if the characters talked, does that mean their near you or just for ambience? Now I know. Although, if you do happen to be reading this, I still have one more question. Do you need the fan off in order for the flashlight repel to work? I had always believed that it only works if you have the fan off and useless if you have the fan on.

I bounced off the game really quickly though, not able to figure out how the heck to survive, and watching this video, I'm not surprised. The audio cues that the game depends on are so quiet, and there's almost no hint of what they indicate. Combine that with the lack of any animatronic visuals outside of salvage and death, no meaningful mechanical differences between animatronics, abysmal jumpscare animations, and no real depth to the simulator gameplay, and I can firmly say that the game is not for me. I can't say I like almost anything about the game itself, but this video was really interesting and illuminating. Great work.
