No, it depends productivity. If one planter harvest on independent smallholder land take 1 ton fresh fruit bunch per day, salary is IDR 200.000 or USD 13,3 1 month, 24 days work salary is USD 319/ IDR 2,4 Millions. If planter harvest on corporate land, production base at least 55/60 fresh fruit bunch or his salary will be reduced. And if he harvest more than production base, the salary will grow up (bonus).

welcome to being a neo-coIony for western mouths with this dive into palm. a monocrop extractive plantation like the banana republics or cocoa countries. all at the expense of the land and environment and domestic industry+economy long term. And the possible extinction of one of humans closest and only evolutionary relatives, our critically endangered intelligent cousins in an otherwise very lonely cosmos, all to meet western c4pitalist excesses. The g0vt and newly emerging petty business class who pay higher taxes will look the other way and sell out. workers rights? environment protections? $$$

You are welcome Besides the oil the husk also makes a delicious soup known as banga, moambe, abe nkwan, arele tolo. Depending where in Africa. It is an excellent plant and food source. It produces more oil per hectare than any other crop. In fact the fruit produces two different oils. The fruit bunches ripen throughout the year too. Dont mind our cousin, of course you will not be familiar as this is a fruit and tree from the tropics it doesnt grow well or produce fruit if you try to cultivate it in europe/Romania. Dont be deterrred keep on learning. There are many different types of palm trees too. They all provide different types of fruits such as dates, dwarf dates, coconut, borassus fruit. Some are maybe not so edible. But without fruit they cant propagate.

In year 1848 the dutch brought 4 palm seeds from Africa and They have planted in Bogor Botanical Garden, that's the beginning. The first commercialization of palm oil in indonesia started in year 1911 when two oil palm plantation were built by government under the names kebon puĺo raja and tanah itam ulu in North sumatera, sumatera island. As time goes by many large companies have joined in opening oil palm plantations until now. We can't avoid deforestation. But now the governement issued the moratorium on palm oil.tks 🙏

Bauksit dan silika). Besok2 kalo harga minyak merah melambung tinggi, pangkas biaya proses deodorisasi ya pak, dengan dalih "minyak berbau organik".. Setelah melambung tinggi lagi, hilangin biaya proses bikin minyak pak! Suruh rakyat beli palem sendiri, dengan dalih "Peras minyak sendiri". Trying to guess the accent - my guess is Southern India. The sign at 5:27 seems to be in Spanish, though that might not mean anything. 8:02 - that's a Malaysian brand. The video skips over a lot of stuff. There's actually two oil products - the oil from the palm fruit husk and the oil from the palm fruit kernels. Very different. The pressed husks are also burned to make steam used in the processing.

I would say Malaysia or Indonesian. Malaysia itself has a large population of people who migrated from the Indian subcontinent. Also since they are the largest producers of palm oil the narratorvis probably from one or the other. I agree it is misleading, they call the refined palm oil 'pure palm oil' but it is not pure as palm oil from the husk is red. It is also silent on whether they use the palm kernel oil and if they blend them. I suspect they may be guarding some of the information to not give too much away to potential competitors

No palm oil is the most unhealthy inflammatory oil out there. Stay away from it at all cost. Avoid seed oils. Use avocado oil, or coconut oil
