You should use castor oil or you should wast his homemade recipe to save money. I’m not a good reference *since I’m a child my hair always been up to my back. When I was young my mom would perm my hair and my hair became hard *but I had length. You should try hairstyle with your natural hair and low manipulation is the key. The only reason I would use one of those "scalp scratches" is if I had arthritis. Your fingers are literally your best tool and free. May I ask a question? I have asked many people, including black women and men, but no one can answer it for me and I would LOVE to know the answer. Why is your hair considered Natural Hair? I have never dyed my hair before so when I saw the Natural Hair section in WalMart I assumed it was for me 🤷🏼♀️ I have straight very fine blonde hair but all the products I bought worked great. I’m just trying to figure out the reason. Thanks!
@britttanyrose
2 жыл бұрын
This is because for decades we have been forced to chemically alter our hair to assimilate into society to be excepted. We are now at the point where we are embracing our hair in its natural state without relaxers. So natural hair is a term to specifically reference black hair and its natural state. Also white people never had a reason to call their hair natural because they we’re never forced to wear their hair in the opposite way. It is basically a cultural term that is just used for the natural state of a black persons hair. So yes you’ve never dyed your hair, but I wouldn’t refer to it as natural hair because of culture
@misselle1430

Natural hair is simply that ... natural !!!! Whether black white or purple. Hair that has not been altered chemically or by heat is natural hair. Just that different hair for different ethnicities.
@lashallcarter1321

Omg I was thinking the same thing. 1st of all I'm not aware of one black or brown woman that has ever been forced to chemical straighten or color their hair, that has been a personal preference for decades, so that statement was totally untrue. There's no need to try to make your specific race or culture superior over other's because anyone who does not chemically alter the natural state of their hair is considered, well, natural regardless of race. Won't be watching or recommending any more of this you tubers content. Someone genuinely asked a simple question and her response made me feel uncomfortable, and I'm black😩

I wash my hair every 1 - 2 weeks and when I want to change up my hair and don't feel like detangling and washing it anymore I usually do twist in my hair
How I wash my hair and I think you should try it ❤ So before I get into the shower I brush my hair till it’s soft and smooth then I get in the shower and wet my hair with warm water then I put in conditioner first and aim for the ends then I rinse it with warm water then i shampoo my hair and aim for the roots and scalp then rinse it with warm water then I put my hair in a shower cap and wash my body and face then I step out dry myself and put clothes on then I wrap my hair in a towel and let it dry for about 20 minutes then I dry it then brush it and boom tell me on my channel if you tried it ❤❤❤
I need a suggestion for good hair oil. By hair is hella dry. My mother is Cherokee and I am biracial and she has no idea how to care and style it. So grew up with frizzy messy hair or two pigtails or just really big wild messy hair.

You should use castor oil or you should wast his homemade recipe to save money. I’m not a good reference *since I’m a child my hair always been up to my back. When I was young my mom would perm my hair and my hair became hard *but I had length. You should try hairstyle with your natural hair and low manipulation is the key. When you wash your hair, moisturize it directly and do a hairstyle.
Where did you get the oil from?
I like Main Choice products.
i don’t have black hair but i love watching your videos because you and ur hair is so pretty!
It eould be ideal for me to wash and deep condition my hair once a week. But currently i haven't washed my hair in 4 wks since my surgery. Life is life-ing, what can i say.
Every 6 weeks
Shampooing in twist are not a good idea to me. I don't feel your hair gets as clean and leaving in twist either when rinsing conditioner. Sometimes the products can give that look like your hair texture is linty. Just my opinion

You scalp is what u need to worry about. Shampoo gets in the scalp really well with twist. Then just put shampoo on the twist and wash it.

But do you have type 4 hair tho? I say it because I believe most people that do this do it because of the ease to not have to redetangle
How often are we supposed to wash our hair cause I do it every 2 weeks am I supposed to wash it every week?
What hair texture is this 4B?
I make wash day super inexpensive and easy by having no hair! Close crop for decades ✌️🏾
Wash every 2 weeks
How often?
I used to do some of those things, but I might try some new things and some old thigsss😌😌😌😘😘😘🥰
Which oils do you use for curly hair thoo-
The only reason I would use one of those "scalp scratches" is if I had arthritis. Your fingers are literally your best tool and free. The warmth from your finger tips helps your scalp absorb moisture. Silicone eats bacteria. I'm not forking over $5 every few months for something I can currently do for free.
1 or 2 per month. I don’t know if you hair will grow faster if you wash your hair often 🤷🏾♀️

Saw a program on TV advising to not wash hair often said too much washing removes the natural oils produced by hair, I have dry hair

@@hermaallen6458 me too I watched a video and they said that water and humidity can cause breakage because your hair will be elastic. I start using natural oil instead of popular hair products. Btw I have 4c hair and my hair is not short. So I don’t thing all these routines will necessarily work. Low manipulation will make them grow 🤷🏾♀️

@@hermaallen6458 Sebum is probably the chemical they were referring to-- our hair naturally produces that chemical to protect our hair
Every 2wks or 1 a wk just depends
How long were u in the shower for?
Every 2wks and I hate it every time 😂
Unpopular opinion: 1. Pre poo 2. Conditioner to detangle 3. Shampoo 4. Deep condition
I wash my hair Saturday, Sunday, and some mondays if I'm too lazy to style it lol Edit: what ur hair type it's so buetyful. mines 3c/ 4a
So washing while twisted doesn't make it more tangled?😮
😍😍
How did you put your hair in twists?
My hair is to short right now to wash in twist I hope it’s not too necessary
The first time I’ve heard her make a hair video without saying “hair care line”
Did you see what we see?? what part looks amazing
I condition my hair practically every week day I shampoo my hair once a week
My natural hair get short whenever i wash it
Me after washing my hair the shrinkage
Every 2 weeks
I need to wash weekly. If I don't, my hair falls out.
I wash once a week
I wash my hair every 2 months bc I have braids in
Your scalp has cuticles???
Every 3 days.
Thanks!

Natural hair is simply that ... natural !!!! Whether black white or purple. Hair that has not been altered chemically or by heat is natural hair. Just that different hair for different ethnicities.

My black gf litteraly has hair like yours until she started washing conditioning leave in conditioners and all and had the most beautiful long soft hair ever more beautiful then any white women hair I have ever seen and what she was able to achieve is the dream of every white girl to have hair like hers and all she does is washes it every day and condition and a leave in softner and conditioner no oils, yes shampoo is amazing us white ppl use every shower every day and leaves your hair smelling amazing all day no need for sprits of smelly stuff to make your hair smell good with a strong smelling clndiand shampoo
At this point I'm noticing either before or after your shorts is dwyt oiling their hair....why, I'm 50 plus years old and always since I can remember they wash hair because it's oily, now they adding oil...sorry I got sidetracked...your hair is beautiful girl...
Girl I hate to be waiting for you to get outta the shower. We would fight every night 😂
Helpful video, but the routine looks exhausting
As a white chick..... I wouldn't mind all of this. 😂
I guess I’m the only one who will go 2-3 months with no shampoo 😬

A great softener and scalp cleanser is vinegar (all hair all scalps) a lot of what is on the market is not good in the long run. Over washing is not good for hair
