I'm sorry to hear of the Queens passing today. I'm an American and I was in London in 1992 and I saw the Queen. I was walking around where parliament and Buckingham palace is and I saw people gathering for something and I went to check it out . Their was a parade to commemorate something involving parliament. Anyway the Queen rode in the parade in a horse drawn carriage I could clearly see her their weren't alot of people it was a loose crowd. Anyway I thought it was cool to see the Queen in person just by happenstance.

Rest in Peace, Queen Elizabeth II (21 April 1926 - 8 September 2022). Though I was an avidly die-hard Anglophile when I was young man, I have never been an admirer of the institution of the British monarchy nor its former empire, I do in fact appreciate the historical role of Queen Elizabeth II and her family in British history. Today is truly an auspiciously sad day for both the United Kingdom and the rest of the world. That certainly includes its greatest former colony-my country, the United States of America. May G-d bless both her family and the people of Great Britain. 🇬🇧 "This royal throne of kings, this scepter’d isle, This earth of majesty, this seat of Mars, This other Eden, demi-paradise, This fortress built by Nature for herself Against infection and the hand of war, This happy breed of men, this little world, This precious stone set in the silver sea, Which serves it in the office of a wall, Or as a moat defensive to a house, Against the envy of less happier lands, This blessed plot, this earth, this realm, this England ..." The truth is, if the monarchy were an airline company it would be begging for emergency loans from the government to keep it solvent. They’re permanently on the teat with you and I supporting this absurd form of theater. King Charles can go get his own damn job…and good luck! The man would not qualify working at McDonalds!
Thank you for a lifetime of service, Your Majesty
I feel very fortunate to have worked in the Royal Household Staff as a Footman. Although the role was that of a servant I went in with my eyes open and had a bedroom at Buckingham Palace, food provided,£9000 per year. At 18 I actually only thought to apply because when I met Diana, Princess of Wales in 1995 whilst doing work experience from school she suggested that I might like to be a Footman for a year or two as they have a lot of fun, travel around the royal residences and abroad. She said she thought it as good opportunity for anyone to see behind the scenes of the Royal Family and meet all sorts of celebraties and everyone from Kings to Presidents. Because you're low down serving meals and drinks at receptions, travelling to Balmoral and Sandringham etc you see EVERYTHING she said. I'm grateful to have seen the Buckingham Palace as it was since 1952. It was still run as if the British Empire existed. Allowances were made only when the Presidents of India or Pakistan visited whereupon the Indian Room was closed up. The Queen and her family are very careful not to wear Russian jewellery when visiting Russia for example. Instead she wore the Brazilian Aquamarine tiara.
I never quite thought about her death. She seemed eternal. Prime Ministers came and went, but Elizabeth II was just always there. “God Save the Queen” has been the national anthem for 70 years. Can’t believe it will be “God Save the King” for the rest of my life.

Good bye Great England's Mother....You are not just a British Queen....you are a World's Queen.....😥
I was living in New Jersey and watching the bbc all that morning online. Im not the greatest of monachists. I think the actions of some members of the Royal Family have "cheapened" the Royal Family's place in British society in recent years....decades maybe. I still believe it works for us however, and the Queen had a rare light about her. I am an Englishman and my wife and I, quite unexpectedly, were in tears for hours this day. What i wanted to say is a big thank you to the Americans i spoke to that day. You were so kind and understanding. I want to say the biggest thank you to Chuck who owns Shakey Jakes bar in NJ. Walking into his amazing bar where i was a regular he approached me just before i walked in and said, " Hey Steve, so sorry man. She wasn't just the Queen of England she was the worlds Queen". Chuck, thanks mate - ill never forget that. In a way, i guess he was right. She acted away from politics and it kept her pure on the world stage, working quietly for a better planet. Anyway, watching this today still made me shed a tear. Im still not the biggest monachist. I still think a monachy is the best for us - the British. I wish other Heads of State, other Royals, could learn from our late Queen and stay above the gutter and act selflessly and for the good of the world. Leading a country or being leader is not about, vanity, power, fame, wealth, adoration or notoriety. To be a great leader and called "great" in the history books of the future, look at our Lizzy. Work quietly, reject greed and stay above petty feuds and act for the the greater good of others - not yourself. It will lead to more peaceful and contented world. Thank you my Queen.

I was in college around 12:40pm on Thursday 8th September 2022 on my lunch break until Woody.EXE sent me a very alarming message that the Queen was in serious condition and i rushed home urgently on his orders. I returned home to see Woody.EXE looked very grief stricken because he was informed by King Charles because Charles knew that Woody.EXE would become the king of Wales on the same night so he was expected to be informed. Around 6:35pm that tragic Thursday night, Woody.EXE and Charles became king at the same exact time so they were both in contact a lot and he was asking Charles how he would tell me the news and Charles told Woody.EXE “just be very careful with what you say to her because she wouldn’t take it very well I’m being told so be careful”. Woody.exe officially told me the news around 7:45pm and then I told my sister, Princess of Wales what happened and she already knew. Thursday 8th September 2022 will forever haunt all 4 of us

Phillip came to me today, and said it was time to go. I looked at him and smiled, as i whispered that "I know" I then turned and looked behind me, and seen I was asleep. All my Family were around me, and I could hear them weep. I gently touched each shoulder, with Phillip by my side. Then I turned away and walked, with My Angel guide. Phillip held my hand, as he lead the way, to a world where King's and Queens, are Monarch's every day. I was given a crown to wear or a Halo known by some. The difference is up here, they are worn by everyone. I felt a sense of peace, my reign had seen its end. 70 years I had served my Country, as the peoples friend. Thank you for the years, for all your time and love. Now I am one of two again, in our Palace up above.
God rest her soul. ❤ RIP Queen Elizabeth.
RIP with tranquility and King Philip. Love from a grateful nation. Service duty is still honoured in even in these modern liberal times🙏🏴🇬🇧
Can’t believe she has gone
It’s the end of an era and queen Elizabeth will be sadly missed by all of us during her long reign
A Real lady. Good bye. Rest in peace. Rita. Australia 🇦🇺
I was visiting my grandparents’ graves when I got the news. I laughed it off until I saw all of the notifications on my phone. I’m American and it shocked me. My grandmother died just before the Queen’s birthday at 81. It’s weird to know tht she outlived my mother, both sets of grandparents, and several of my aunts and uncles.

It’s a sad day for us all.
God. I will so miss her. She was out gifted worldly. God took you home mom. Never forgotten. My heart is sick right now. Long live the Queen even in her next life. My God. Thank you. I out lived you? God is good. My God . my Queen. No drama. Now you get to enjoy Princess Diana in the other life. King Charles? What madness. What ever. Kingdom will be nothing ever again.
Crazy how many of these call them King or Queen of England. You think a Canadian and an Irishman would know the histories of their own countries.

We do know our History and Queen Elizabeth was the monarch of Great Britain and of Canada and other nations. Time certain people studied theirs
This is very shocking
A beacon of light has moved to the heavens. The greatest celebration should be held and heard around the world. A life worth remembering and telling. Those who have never known her... please speak with caution. Those who knew her.... bless your caution. The world is about to change.
