How Never To Get Line Twist/Loops/Fluff With Fluorocarbon On Spinning Reels
Randy gives a demonstration on how to correctly put fluorocarbon fishing line on a spinning reel so you don’t get any loops or fluff. This will eliminate the need for any Braided Line to fluorocarbon line leader ..#bassfishing #fishthemoment #fishing #fishthemoment #fishingline #braidedline #fluorocarbon

The reason I use braid to fl is I can use different pound leader’s. Usually it’s 10# braid to 8-12# fl leaders.
Pro's are only fishing braid to leader because it's a "fad" and they know they will catch less fish, but reeaally want to be in the "fad" crowd LOLOLOL. Your trolling is getting good Randy.
Switched to this recently with amazing results. I now love using a spinning rod for jerkbait fishing and the flouro is so smooth! I love it! Thank you!
I was pleased with Trilene mono line
This is possibly one of the best examples I have seen on this topic.
Very informative Randy for newbie anglers. Keep it up. As for me I’m a straight mono guy. I don’t fish tournaments anymore so I stick to what I know well. Never have had the frustrations with fluoro people talk about when I fished it.
Set your trolling motor on high drag the bare line behind the boat when you reel in no twist ,lube and tension
I don't have braid to flouro on my finesse spinning reel...I use braid to mono, lol. I can't justify changing something that works so well for me. I use a medium power rod with a softer tip and combined with the mono; I get all the feel with great hook setting power. If straight flouro works best for you, then by all means keep at it. In my 4+ decades on the water, the one truth I've discovered is that different systems work for different anglers.
You are a fountain of fishing knowledge sir
I did try another brand of fluorocarbon line a long time ago and had nothing but bad luck with it then I switched to another brand and it was ok. I usually stay with mono and I use the same or similar steps that you have provided as in spooling the reel which has worked really well for me. Seaguar makes an incredible braided line that I use for catfishing and I will have to look into their fluorocarbon line and give it another try. As always thanks for these great tips and I really like how you stick to your guns when it comes to what works the best for you. Thanks Randy!! :)
Randy ,. I took your advice and started using straight Fluro on my spinning reels last year and I have had little to no problems and I like it so much better then braid to Fluro ,, it’s so much easier fishing tournaments and not having to worry about re-tieing a leader knot or that knot failing and not having to carry multiple spools in my bag ,,
Thanks for the tips,very informative
Love your videos we will have to agree to disagree on this one! It saves me a ton of money not switching my line three times a year and just running long leaders. I do respect your opinion though!
Very good video. Will hopefully help my spinning rig prowess
Was debating going braid to flouro. Didn't want to but figured I had to bc I kept getting knots in my spinning reel whenever I used the maximum pound test the reel was rated for. I'm glad I saw this video bc now I'm gonna stick to straight flouro. Thx for this.
At the beginning of my fishing adventures, I was using fluoro on my spinning rod and it was terrible. Switch to mono, got frustrated with that, and then chance to braid and haven't had any problems with it. Going to try fluoro this year on my spinning rod to see what happens. It might have been me but that was several years ago when I switch over to braid. You all have a Blessed Day !!!
I agree, for bass. I do have braid to FC on my trout rod. (Which I also use for Ned and drop shot).
Good timing. I need to spool my spinning reel and i wasnt sure how much tension to use. Ill have to try some water too. 👍👍
Good information. Thank you.
Great stuff, Ty for the video
