I don't know. I caught and catch a bunch in the summer on the Tennessee river. Green pumpkin and white. Caught my biggest bass last year in late July on a white and chartreuse chatterbait in about 3 feet of water and had about 2 ft of visibility.

I did a bunch of test on native largemouth bass in a bunch of 200 gallon tanks and became convinced that bass, or at least these bass were nocturnal. Maybe that accounts for the early am and late evening bite

I love fishing clear water. My old small home lake was crystal clear! I watched tons of people come & never come back because they couldn't get a bite. I usually had the place to myself.

I'm not tired of seeing megabass lures. I wish you would do a series of videos showing every color- up close. and carefully. of each lure they make. Also any old colors that you love. "Unboxing" videos are some of the most popular on KZread. There isn't any place to go see them at a store. A flat picture on a website doesn't really do any lure justice.

It is curious that you throw out these opinions then ask for our feedback. I'll skip the low hanging fruit of the economy's ticking along (some old Indian Peote flash backs from the sweat lodge I'm guessing?) . Let's run down a few points. $1'500 entry fee in 1985 is $4'300 in today's dollars. The production's more sophisticated and expensive now. Can you even buy a boat today as stripped down as an '85? What was the HP rating? boat length? Today? 18 foot Ranger with a 150hp list for 48K with a better graph and trolling motor than back in the day. It doesn't matter because we don't see 18ft boats at the pro level do we? A member of the deadly sins group, Envy is never flattering to ones character and to bemoan the cost to be self employed as a bass fisherman because it's so much worse than any other small business leap is a bit insensitive 🤔. Average golf pro drops $5k per event and 20-30 events per year. About 1.1MM high school football players are hoping to get one of the 1'700 NFL positions. Man that sucks. No reasonable person can look at professional fishing as anything more than professional gamblers in ball caps and fancy bowling shirts in pickup trucks. ( A handful of people do well, the rest are plopping down money on the fishing version of a lottery ticket as their plan to carve out a living. It appears the fishing is what folks want to do, being a independent sales rep is what has to be done to pay the bills. (that would include social media in today's reality). Love the fishing vids but you seem to love the controversial commentary. Perhaps this will be a highly viewed. Well you pulled me into the fray. Be well

They may catch fish, but average middle class fishermen can't afford boxes full of $20.00 and $30.00 baits. Most of us can't write off lures, Rods, reels, gasoline, boats and trucks as a business expense. Please do some commercials with lures we can afford and especially some that kids and younger anglers can afford.

Hey Randy been fishing that z1 and 2 and a big problem I am having with it. Every time I get a bite. Normally they go after the front hook. The back hook has been ending up close if not in the eyes of some of fish I’m catching. More times that not.

The worst time for an early morning bite is when it's dead calm. Mid morning when a breeze kicks up also the bite turns on. Usually 9.00am to noon.

You don’t deserve to make a living doing something just because it’s your dream or because you work hard at it or because you’re good at it. The supply and demand curves for the product you produce or the service you provide have to be favorable.

I stopped being a CCA member because of there silence on private waterways. I was a member of BASS for several years, always wanted to fish there tournaments, but they don’t see there anglers as customers so I’ve really lost my interest because tournaments cost too much to take part in.

The fishing is finally stable come June for me. I know exactly where they are in summer heat. They want shade and relief from temp so it makes em easy find. Sleep in and eat some breakfast that will do you way better than being up at 330 to be burnt out by noon

Aug or September is when my family goes to Stockton each year. Sure, we mostly fish for white bass trolling traps. We also catch some nice bass at this time. We fish about 4 to 10 feet of water. Most fish come where there are changes in depth near flats. No, we just eat the whites. Look for spring cracks in rocks. The strip pit can be good in August. Just sharing some tips for summer

Great tips as always! We just got back from the lake yesterday, had some awesome fishing for the first two days when it was cloudy but once the sun came out the last two days it was a morning and late evening bite mostly. Still caught a lot but definitely had to make some adjustments which is half the fun!

It will be difficult for any of the tournament trails to completely cut off FFS simply because as you mentioned they’re sponsored by Garmin, Lowrance, etc., the very companies pushing this technology. I definitely agree it needs to be limited but unless studies are done to show what kind of impact these electronics are having to our fisheries its highly unlikely an outright ban on FFS will happen anytime soon.

Economic status is horrid in most of middle class , the new middle class pay is now at all time high 50$ an hour , if all these tech grps boat makers etc would stop paying there owners an Vp an maybe a tier way more than the position is worth you could pay these anglers more an lake or easier for middle class individuals to try to fish for a living , wished I was a good enough fisherman I’d could come up with the money that being my time has come an gone good , an good luck to all anglers trying to make it in pro fishing.

You can fish the Elites for far less than you claim. You don't need a brand new boat and brand new truck with $1500 a month payment on each. The inflation rate the past few years and is still very high does have an effect on the cost to fish but it doesn't cost $250k per year to support your home and fish the Elites
