I don't think people truly understand that. For her to just sit there, beside her son, playing this game, it means the absolute world to her. There's been nights she has cried herself to sleep thinking she lost her baby because her baby isn't a baby anymore. All parents do it one day lol. My son is 16 months, and I'm positive old day, when he becomes grown up and moves out on his own, I'm going to cry. Parents cherish every moment with their child, even when they grow up

If your situation is like normal, you've always seen your parents as one thing, but they've seen you change stages in life from infant to toddler to child to preteen to teen to young adult. And they've fallen in love with every iteration of you, and watched as you needed them less and less, and its shattering. Dont forget about them because they're never going to forget about you.

This was such a delight to watch. It really shows how supportive and invested your mom is in what youre doing - I really wish all parents could put that amount of investment into their children's interests, because too many just refuse to care. Also, heads up on being such a good teacher!

The most wholesome video SmallAnt has ever created. I'm hopeful to see more of SmallAntMom in the future. She seems like such a lovely woman.

Usually when you see someone gaming with one of their parents in vids like this, they usually don't have a clue (and have no real interest in getting a clue) or are just sitting there proudly looking along, but I love how into it your mom is. Great video, loved it :)

My mom is a legit boomer at 69, I'm 28, and she still knows most of the original 151 Pokémon because of me and to a lesser extent my older brother. Parents can be encouraging and have fun with their childrens interests too.

I grew up with two gamer parents lol. My dad would always get the newest console (and still does) while my mom sticks with the classics, like Mario, Street Fighter, etc. It's really nice learing about and discovering games through them. You're right, it's really awesome to be able to relate and talk about shared interests with your parents, even if it's not just videogames ❤

Me too, this stream is just really wholesome

I saw this video when it came out, and I didn't know what Smom was like at the time, but now that i've been watching more of her streams, i have come to really like her personality. I love how she is really into the stuff he does, and is super wholesome and supportive.

This is one of the greatest things ive ever watched on youtube, I found myself cheering on SmallAntMom so loud my dog jumped when she nailed the nut jump. Love it!

Most of the time, when I see someone bring their mom into a video it feels all stilted and awkward to me, as though they don't know what's going on. SmallAntMom knows enough to not be totally lost and is able to actually be cool, which kills me because I can't even do that half the time

I just love how supportive she is of her son's chosen carreer, and how enthusiastic she is in participating. Awesome parenting and a great relationship. :)
