Mad respect your channel did over 80k in 2022 and in 2023 you wasn't afraid or worried about experimenting with your channel. You took almost a 55k lost, that's what I call not being afraid to break things. It also shows the power of having different streams of income. Congrats to you!

That CPM is insane! … I admit I haven’t watched as much YT content this past year, as I was so distracted by short form video and podcasts. I now notice, I really didn’t see you come up in my feed … maybe I didn’t recognise contributors because it wasn’t your face.

I knoooow this is not what you were talking about, but I'm the type of person who needs to have things out for them to exist. My office is clean, but I also have stuff like financial numbers up on the wall, goals written out, vision board, etc. The idea of using a green screen with a nice office photo as my background.... sounds amazing. I was wondering how you came to do this setup and any tips if yours truly wanted to emulate it.

Your probably not doing anything wrong. I think the problem is we as creators rely on KZread to pay us. KZread should be used for marketing and driving traffic to an actual business not associated with KZread.

Such a great explanation!! I want to start posting on KZread consistently because my IG and tiktok is snail growth. First I have to get monetized on YT and I'm far from that lol but once I am, does it matter how long someone watches the ad for to get paid from the ads, if someone doesn't watch the ad all the way through? How does that work?

Any tips on getting the view count up?

I am not monetized yet, but I keep seeing you two putting ads on my channel. What does that mean? Why do they do that? Is that a good thing a bad thing?

My cpm isn't good but my chennal got 30k+ views per month but i earn just a little amount i don't know how your CMP is high 😢

Questions: 1. what made you try a new type of presentation using other presenters (hence the drop in views). Affiliate Marketing (I'm dipping my toe with that on my YT channel with Amazon - but don't really know hoe to 'work' it). 2. with all these Reels/shorts about easy earning through passive income, ie: not working all day and post a link for ppl to buy products, get a commission etc etc, why do you bother with your other businesses if affiliate marketing is such a money earner - as we are lead to believe. 3. $26k from youtube (oooh I'd love that) what is the average wage in the USA (in the UK it's about £30k a year... a Tesla costs £46k new and a litre of UnLeaded is £1.52 and the average house price is £288k) and you're very camera confident and easy on the eye so keep in front of the camera your views will come back up :) I'm slowly building my views up each month. :)

Im not the genius expert and I hope you take well as I come from good intentions: your thumbnails need work.

OK I would love to know from you and any other creators out there. If once you hit a major mile stone, does KZread dial down your watch our metrics? In my analytics, I have 3000 watch hours. Meanwhile, the tracker on my earnings page dropped from 2900 to 2500 months ago and has not moved… I’m at over 900 subscribers & should totally apply for the new baby partner program they’ve rolled out, but I have no idea what happened to my watch hours… I did not unlist any videos, and my view count has been pretty consistent since this time last year… Just curious if anyone else has had the same thing happen to them?

Are you sure you’re looking at the right timeframe? Like, in your analytics, are you looking at the last 365 days? That’s what the tracker on the monetization page is looking at. Maybe there’s a discrepancy there?

If you do shorts, they count towards the watch time in the general analytics overview, but not on the YPP tracker page so that could be another factor. The track page only shows eligible watchhours and only longform video watch hours are eligible. Doesn't account for the sudden drop though.

KZread considers for monetization only the watch hours during the last 365 days (not during all the history of your channel), so your count shows exactly this.

I probably did too around that subscriber amount...you probably have a REALLY good amount of views and high CPM and likely aren't gaining subs as quick as you're gaining views

So the key is topic & views based on demand, sounds like….right? More in demand topic = more views = more $$$ in other words…..
