How Much Power Can You Get by Remapping a Turbodiesel? First Dyno in 20 Years

    Edc15 and 16 is really easy to tune and not always need calculation for impressive power gains. I make these often and very fast in WinOLS.

    I had my 2008 3.0 v6 TDI a5 remapped about 5 years ago. Went from 241hp/500Nm to 317hp/674Nm. It's a stage 2 tune which involves closing EGR, Emptying DPF and a tune. It has 204.000km on the clock, and still running like a top :)

    I remember messing with EDC suite and mapping my 1.9 pd130 golf. Boost came in hard and injectors weren’t even maxed. 3 yrs drove it like it’s stolen daily.

    I just bought a brabus d6 e320cdi which currently won't drive for some reason but once repaired I'd be really happy to see 400hp at the crank will I need a straight through exhaust a bigger fuel pump bigger injectors bigger turbo and bigger intercooler? Is there anything else I'm missing that u would need. Looking forward to watching this video so I'm going to save it. 😊

    I don't know sure (Now days) but you need 2 updates. 1 for your ecu and other for the box that runs the gearbox. Gearbox is the tricky one. I have not seen any one do it by internet. Upgrades: What I recomend is cathc can for oil (breather tank), removing old diesel fitering system, renew fuel lines, upgrade pumps (Lift pump and main pump). And after that comes the expensive stuff. Injectors, turbo, Manifolds and so on (+10€K). Meaby BlackSmoke proofs me wrong, but under 400€. 270HP/+600NM is good and ower that it goes to shaisse... 350cdi is other beast. Tuning 350cdi takes lot of honey to sell....

    Blacksmokeracing also makes egs52 tcu upgrades. With tune the 320cdi 580 gearbox handles easily over 900Nm

    i have a mercedes 270 cdi om612 and my automatic transmission wont shift up more than 1 gear it will go in reverse but not in 2 gear do you know anything about this problem?

    Does this remap disabled the egr and swirl flaps? Also can you keep the stock intercooler if you're just easy on a daily drive? And what about the speed limiter

    Maybe you can help me out 🆘 Got e92 335d egr deleted and dpf gutted . Currently running 350hp and 750nm . After hitting 120mph car goes into limp mode i code 428B i delete the code while driving the power is back . I put the car at dyno at 100mph 120mph the car is overboosting alot the turbo spins . Whats your thoughts on that??

    Thats pretty good for just a remap. I wonder how far u can get it with budget Mods like a new intercooler and a ebay/maxpeedingrods turbo Also how many rpms do u get with this tune? Will it do 4700rpm saftely?

    Miksi vaihtaa kun vaki ohjaimen saa ohjelmoitua kaikkea väliltä pappaa kirkkoon ja halolla selkään vaihdot. Tehnyt niitä jokusen tässä vuosien varrella omiin ja kavereiden autoihin.

    We do tunes to them also, power gain is pretty same. Around 270hp/650nm is safe

    In this he uses Kess tool for reading snd writing, we are resellers of magicmotorsport though. Usually we work with Flex tool.

    Ei ainakaan vielä nykyään. Päästövehkeitten manipuloinnin tutkimista ajetaan kyllä läpi, mutta vielä ei ole mitkään säädökset varmoja. Ainoastaan hylky tulee jos katsuri huomaa, mutta eihän sitä huomaa jos se ohjelmalla on tehty.

    So TCU tune isn't necessary until you make serious upgrades for much more torque and TCU hits torque limit

    On all 722.6 transmissions a tcu upgrade is a must they are slow to shift stock and all of them work much better with updated software. I mapped and made custom softwares to my own mercedes and it was the best change to the car. I hate the stock laggy transmission.
