You put a lot of time and effort into this video and you definitely reaped the rewards. I appreciated your personal experience about how frustrating the initial work can be and why testing and testing and testing are so important. Also, this is why having quality equipment, quality setup, and quality vendors are important when you are getting set up because you want to be troubleshooting the print job and not troubleshooting your bad business decisions that boxed you into a corner. The only suggestion I have is to include you company's website in the video. You may pick up some customers who want to support you. Thank you for the excellent video!

    @@markherring3513 I'm not sure if its being completely discontinued. To be honest, I think the 2100 will still be around just because of the cost difference. With the 2270, you're paying a premium for faster prints and I assume lower ink costs. It will be interesting to see what Epson plans on doing with the 2100.

This is the piece that holds the laptop: amzn.to/3IOgwj1 This is the stand that attaches to the table: amzn.to/42eqyRd I use a smaller 13" laptop and it works wonderfully, but larger laptops might not sit as well on the stand.

    Sales is usually the hardest part with DTG because people are so used to cheap screen printed shirts. If you're able to put out high quality prints with amazing designs, you can absolutely sell these shirts for $30+!

    I believe Epson has a one-time fix all option where they can send out a text and repair whatever is wrong with the machine but it costs quite a lot. I would recommend reaching out to them directly for exact pricing. If you do a nozzle check and all lines are printing without gaps, the printer may be working fine, you would probably just want to make color adjustments in the artwork.

  • @LovesBranding

    @LovesBranding

    Жыл бұрын

    If I were to buy again, I would probably have gotten the 16x20 Epson platen with grip tape. I don't find myself using the hoodie risers as much as I thought I would. And the tucking feature is nice but with the grip tape, I don't even really use the hoop to keep the shirt in place which saves me the same amount of time. However, I do love the 16x20 tucloc for doing any type of dtf films because the tape sticks to the plexiglass far better than it does my regular platen with grip tape. In all honesty, I don't print over 14x16 as much as I thought I would either. It will definitely get you in with some street brands and other niches that like that oversized print but there's tons of work out there that can be done with 14x16 prints. Best of luck!

  • @LovesBranding

    @LovesBranding

    11 ай бұрын

    It depends on a lot but for me I was typically selling them from $15-25. Larger full front or prints on both sides will greatly increase your ink cost. If you are doing one-off pieces, I've seen people be able to sell shirts for $30-50. A bit part of it is finding your niche and market and seeing what they are willing to pay.
