Talk to them and ask about placement scenarios for core branches and their reason for spending extra years in preparing for competitive exams

Why TATA ? TYOTA Automotive company gives 60-80lacs/annum to Mechanical engineers with Mechatronics & Robotics specializations ..... Even DRDO , ISRO , ONGC , NTPC , HEL , SAIL , NPCIL etc gives Handsome salary with 100% jobs security as those all are Government jobs ..... That is more prestigious because these all are India's Public sectors Organisations & Directly involes in National development .....

People doing crazy things on social media get 1.2 crore while a mechanical engineer who studied hard to get a degree for improvement of society by doing some actual development only dreams about it...cruel era really as predicted by ancestors.
