When I go to a book sale the first types of books I look for first is, History, Politics,Military and Art, these books usually do well for reselling.

Congrats on your booth sales. January is usually a tough month. We start with spring stuff in Feb. and that does well for us. Sell a lot of tin watering cans, planters and garden tools. Love those wooden file drawers.

Sometimes I like to do auctions too. On stuff I can’t find comps on. But I don’t expect to be high in value. I like to let the market determine the price on few items once in awhile! Great vid!

I love my dymo label maker from Walmart $18,refills are 2 for $5. Small and portable. I attach to tags or directly on products

Here in Virginia most libraries have book sale shelves or tables and you can buy anytime you go in. Hard backs $ 1.00, paper backs $ 0.50. I find great novels and renowned authors. Grisham, Cornwell, Woods, Cussler, Connelly, O'Rielly and more.......

love library book sales!!! I load up at these ... i fill 5 to 6 good sized boxes

Our county library local branch (largest city in the county) has a small store they sell donated books at 3-5 days a week. The library Science fiction selection is poor and they don't exchange borrowing privileges with other library systems, (like many other counties do) so I don't go often, parking is a problem.

Hey I picked an old Minolta film camera at a thrift store for $28. It had two lenses with it. The second lens is a portrait lens. All the comps are saying it is worth from $200-$300 just for the lens. What luck if it sells for that.

Ive randomly done good with a couple of books ive found at the bins. Occasionally il scan books 📚 and have found some gems. Especially with a text book i sold for $60 free media mail shipping paid .50 cents for it a couple others that I’ve made good money off of too.

This past weekend I went to the antique mall in West Chester where you have a booth. I'm happy you are doing well because I honestly wasn't too impressed with the mall itself. It was a Saturday afternoon and the mall was a ghost town. Maybe 6-8 people browsing counting my wife and I. A lot of booths were empty and others had less then 5 things in them. Pretty insane considering some of those booths cost over $200 a month to rent. Meanwhile that same day we went to Ohio Valley Antique Mall in Fairfield and the place was packed. How are dealers making any money at the one in West Chester?

Thanks for the feedback! I’ve never been there on a Saturday, but that’s certainly not good. I know Ohio valley gets a lot of traffic but I’ve heard they have a major theft problem.

@@cincinnatipicker Ohio Valley is huge and packed. I don't know how bad their theft problem is and not even sure if there are even empty booths available right now. Doesn't really surprise me with the theft issue. Doesn't seem like 70+ year old staff members can be much of a theft deterrent. With the cash that mall makes they should hire police, at least on the weekends.

Do you have a recommendation for a postage scale?

Do you get any hot wheel stuff?

I'll give you some feedback at how helpful your videos are. On a recent video, you sold a new package of old, expired Polaroid film. Today at Goodwill, I bought a package of similar instant color film for the impossible camera that's also expired. I bought it for $1.49 and it should ship for 4 oz rate. I expect to get $15-20 based on sold comps. Without your videos I never would have given that package of old film a look. Thanks.

Im telling you people, if you can find a good quality antique mall - it's EASY MONEY!! Not all malls are the same! Stay away from the sketchy, bad lighting, booths are tiny and cramped, in a bad neighborhood kind of stores!! Find a well lit, social media savy, large booth areas, and in a decent part of town. I grossed almost a $1,000 in January and did almost nothing!!!!

The ok money books are military history. Universities want them. You have to scan them on amazon. Also theatre plays. Students need them. You sell almost all hard goods...🤔 omg the snow!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why does your mother in law have so many of those dvd write discs?

I almost bought the Staind car..

Our local library does a 2 day book sale 3 or 4 times a year. Scanners are absolutely not allowed on the first day of each sale to give the locals a chance to find good stuff cheap. Scanners are permitted on the second day, but not a lot of people use them anyway.

I was always number one in my booth once I started selling records almost exclusively. I started my booth with furniture and smalls, but the record inventory eventually took up almost all the space. If I hadn’t moved out of state, I’d still be doing it.
