Please do Curse Forge mods appropriate for kids i would love it

When the weather's too cold to plant I make sure I have a plant plot inside. Plant the flower then move it outside with build and buy. It will still grow once outside you just can't plant 😊

In my save, I made Cassandra Goth into a Botanist/Witch and she has been making BANK from her death flowers in her greenhouse! They just go perfectly with that "Goth" family aesthetic. ❤❤

I grabbed the dragon fruit from the planters at the love festival (there are flowers there too and free herbs at the spice festival) and made a million simoleons so easily it should a criminal aspiration! My outstanding dragon fruit were worth 700 each.

Growing Orchids for flower arrangements is spectacular too

When you have cuttings from the same type of plant in your inventory (regardless of how many) it will use all of that plant cutting type when grafting. It’s annoying. You’d have to take one cutting. Graft it. Take another cutting. Graft it. Etc to not lose all your cuttings at once. If they were different plant type cuttings that wouldn’t happen. Hopefully I explained that well.

fun game: take a shot every time karla says 'death flower' to instantly meet grim yourself

Splice death flowers on some non-seasonal, low worth, plants. Sage is good for that purpose. Cultivate your death flowers in Oasis Spring or Sulani. In Oasis Spring, the temperature almost never get to freezing, and in Sulani, it only get cool, even during the coldest days. Yes, for some obscure reason, when grafting, the Sims will always use ALL of the cuttings from the same specie at once. No idea why. Come Spring, extend the roof of that cabin to cover all of the lot. That way, your plants will continue blooming out of season. Roofs are free. A single roof can cover the whole lot.

4:23 So another little in game thing that I stumbled upon is that when you pick up a plant and put it in the household inventory theres a chance it will sell for a lot more. Two examples being the dragonfruit and money tree fruit plants, the dragon fruit being sold in live mode from the plant itself is maybe 500 but it is worth and can be sold in build and buy for about 1250 and the money fruit can be sold for 8000 each rather than whatever it is in live mode (i forgot the cost). This has helped me so much when i want my sims to get a lot of money. Another thing is if you spam having your sim dumpster dive for i think meals or ingredients, one of the two will eventually get you a money fruit tree just takes a little time but not super long.

You can make the vitality nectar with the nectar maker & make hella money too. My sim sold 9 finely aged bottles of it for 710k 😂

You have to click on the number to see all the individual graft peace or it will graft all at once

I've grown death flowers before too. They do well for making money. You can pull out the plants at the end of the season, keep them in inventory. Plant roses, orchids, etc. Just keep whatever is not in season in inventory to replant them all again when the season comes back around. Or, use a cheat, which I ended up doing when I wanted to make flower arrangements.

I think the cutting grafting thing is buggy too. Whenever I want to splice plants I have to take one cutting at a time otherwise it'll attach all of my cuttings to one plant. However if I do it one at a time I can splice several plants a day.

I have a game play idea for you! Use the extreme violence & Mortem mod to become a murderer... kill & bury your victims. The Mortem mod allows you to bury a sim yourself & a death flower grows in its place. Do this for X amount of time, maybe a sim week ? And see how rich you can get from being a murder/Gardner of death flowers!! ❤ your videos! I hope you see this! 😊

in my legacy save, my matriarch has 10 bed of death flowers on her greenhoused porch. she has single handedly given every single decendant in her fam 1 mill simoleans, and theres at least 100. she has great great great grand kids, so no longer showing as a relative, beyond decendant by 3 generations ans all THEIR kids etc. i have her make ambrosia and sell it via the food stall at 500 % markup, cuz of that booth boss trait (plus shes immortal cuz i couldnt bear to see her die) so....... death flowers are awesome :D

When you plant things you don’t need to click every plant individually, the sim will plant everything she can if you click plant on one flower

Hey karla could you do a video with a sim writing the book of life by doing the bestselling author aspiration?

I think there's a bug in the game where if you have say 3 death flower cuttings all 3 will be used on whatever you graft it to but you can have say 1 death flower and 1 rose and graft both of them on to plants. I had to take a cutting 1 at a time when I was playing growing plants to make nector
