I think it'll be funny to create flower arrangement purely scented with death flower as another part. So everyone will have deadly flowers in their homes and pockets. Even better combined with mods that stops the flowers from withering. So you can fill your house with death. Might as well add a graveyard-business on the side as well.

You need to be in the area for plants to grow. That's why the one behind your lot grew faster. If you want to harvest wild plants, you'll have to camp out for 2-3 days. In zero-cash starts, I'll go to Jonny Zest's and crash there until the tomato plant in the park across the road is ready. That way I can have free garden salads. Spliced plants can only have 10 harvestable, so collecting them each day gives the next day a greater chase of more of the one you want. Also with the point. Plants seem to start to bloom at 5am and finish at 6am. Also, I think taxes are higher if all your plants are fully bloomed. House value is for sure. I had one lot with a 70k difference from before and after harvesting. If you want another sim to have to death flower, you don't need this one to be around. Just have it growing outside and have them visit the lot. Again it may take time to grow. Once you start your cash garden, fence it off. Townies like to visit to tend to your garden, but this includes harvesting your plants and losing out on sales. If you don't want to babysit your garden all day, hire a gardener. Only will cost around 200. You'll be making thousands each day (if you keep townies out) and this small fee won't even make a dent. *This is more so for long plays where you would want to do other things.

You actually can get the death flower in the rare plants seed pack, but it's extremely rare, and you need level 10 to unlock it, if you're playing without cheats or mods..

Also if you have Realm of Magic, they sell Death Flowers in the ingredient shop occasionally, and they always sell apples.

One of my rabbits from Cottage Living gifted me a Death Flower and as a Spellcaster, I used Copypasto to make more. And by I, I mean my sim…

You could do it this way....Or, you could get a Death Flower by befriending Roberto Crinkletop from Horse Ranch and he will give you his family recipe. And Death Flower for free. But this way provides more entertainment. ☺

The fertiliser you buy doesn’t work with the regular fruits, veg and flowers I’m pretty sure it only works with oversized plant seeds

I've used the fertilizer that she bought and it works on normal plants. I do it all the time. There's at least 2 kinds you can buy and I believe that one specifically is for crops but the other you can use on crops and normal plants, I just use one over the other for my crops.

Try going to Tartosa and selling the death flowers to the floriculture who sells bouquet. He pays more

Frequently grow death flowers. If you have Realms of Magic, you can buy some at the magic ingredients shop. You can also get them from grafting. I even got lucky and got a few from rare plants seeds packets and while fishing. When you have multiple plants to plant, you just need to make your Sim plant the first in row and he'll plant them all, or most of them if you are unlucky. It takes some time for the blooming plants to spawn fruits. So, just go digging for minerals and fossiles, catching some frogs and fishing for a bit. Why use those planters ? You can plant pretty much everywhere. So, go ahead and plant everything that you have.

The death flower luckly is available in the rare seed packet!! Im trying the Jam challenge currently and my sim plum had to grow a death flower and make ambrosia to bring his dead father, Geoffrey Langgrab, who his mother, Grape Jam, killed before marrying Malcolm Langgrab. I knew you could get the death flower from grafting orchid to pomegranate, which you can get from rare seed packs. When opening one of the packs i got the death flower. I was pretty suprised actually. I didnt know it was in the packs!

For the next part I think it would be cool if you kill a sim with a death scented flower arrangement. I recently found out that if you gift a sim a flower arrangement that is scented with the death flower, it will age them up, so if you give it to an elder it will kill them 😊 I think you have to be level 9 of the flower arrangement skill though

You need to spend a day or 2 in area for plants to grow.. when you come and go it pauses or even worse it will reset them.. it will do it on your home lot too

Yes, you can, but, you need to be lucky, as it's a rare find in those packets. Also, you can buy those from the magic ingredients shop in the magic world. With luck, you can even fish one or two... Look for sparkling fishing spot.

It's rare so you won't get one. Your sim also has to be level 10 in gardening to even get the rare plant seed packet.

@@tigerprincess1109 You can get the rare seeds without a level 10 in gardening. I found a way around it. You can edit a public lot (like a park or uni), then buy a bunch of seed packets. Place them on the ground. Then have your Sim go to the lot. Then open up all the seed packets.

1. You can click the gardening pots to purchase (seasonal) seeds, you can use the computer too instead of going into BB 2. Being on the lot for a certain amount of time will let the harvestable pop up, otherwise you won’t find much 3. Fertilize with other plants & fish for the normal plants. The cans only let you fertilize oversized crops Sorry I’m kind of a sims nerd 🤦🏽‍♀️

Don't know if you're taking suggestions or not but I like the idea of gifting it to someone else and they use it to start a life. Sounds like a really good play through.

This might be one of the most annoying decisions they made with Sims 4, that plants only grow in neighbourhoods when sims are there. It just makes it ridiculous if you're trying to collect a plant from outside your home neighbourhood, especially if you're looking for one with a long time to grow. Even worse is the stupidity that you can't buy specific seeds, you have to buy enough random packets and hope you get the one you want. Just a dumb idea I've ended up created a 'botanical garden' (although the lot type is a 'Park') in Newcrest based on Kew Gardens so I can go there before 5am, wait for the plants to bloom, and pick up any plants I want. (Galery ID=CaptLL, "Newcrest Botanical Garden" lot, but be warned it's a work in progress!)

I saw you get a notification for the Romance Festival, and that's actually a really good place to harvest flowers. I'm pretty sure you can get lilies there.

I mean Ambrosia makes hella good money as does Vitality Nectar and both of them require death flowers. Also, if you get her flower arranging skill up to level 9 you can scent arrangments with Death Flowers and they can kill Elder Sims (they age up other sims). Or you could sell them on a market table or at the stalls in Henford on bagley.

Death Flowers will also stave off the death of another sim if you give it to the Grim Reaper when he appears.

I wish I was sitting next to you while you played. Grow fast fertilizers only work on giant plants like eggplant and pumpkins.

This is really interesting I keep forgetting about the death flower. 😅 One thing I’d suggest is use the lot trait “Great Soil” I always use that when my Sim is a gardener. 🙂

Go to the secret spell world t find most of what you are looking for

I would guess that she comes from Surrey, Kent or Sussex, the counties around the south east of London. It's not inner London, but its definitely southern
