How much can I earn as a GrabFood Walker?

Hi there, this is a video showing my day as a GrabFood Walker. Kindly watch until the end, I will share about the earnings I earned by completing a few jobs.
I do not have a bike, motor, or car. Hence, I register as a GrabFood Walker and work on part-time basis. As a Grabfood delivery partner, the working time is flexible. The peak hour is usually during lunch and dinner time.
Hope you guys enjoy the video. Do subscribe to our channel:)

Hi good and genuine video, im a grabfood cyclist, felt heartpain to see you guys walk so much for a few orders!! May i suggest try doing in HDB areas with coffeshops and smaller malls, it is much easier to navigate and distances are more straightforward, chinatown/ downtown area is too complicated. The customer will pick it up at a meeting point nearby the lobby, so the delivery agent will not going up to the building and spend more time. But yes, in rare and special cases the delivery agent can also going up to deliver the goods/foods to the destination unit, with more tips I guess. But my friend was *NOT COMPENSATED AS A STACKED ORDER.* He received only a bicycle type of fee. I wonder does Grab earn the commissions from *PER STALL?* If so, why was the riders not duely given more fare?

To be honest, this is the price range for non-pmet jobs. Well, SG is in the midst of discussing on the min wage issue. Being a delivery worker is considered self-employed. People do it for different reasons (flexibility, temporary out of job, part-time for extra income). My advice is, do not judge people based on their jobs. Next video we will share more on the truth of being a Grabfood worker. I am only working on part-time basis aside from my professional career. The fact that non pmets are paid such low wages does not mean it's right. It's precisely the lack of Min Wage that any low wage can exist in SG. Do you know how have fees earned by food deliverers changed over the years compared to in the beginning? I Am a Food Delivery man full time. Glad to hear you are looking into this line of work. There are many things that should be improved in this industry. Primarily the problems inevitably exist because Singapore has NO Min Wage. The policy makers do not really understand because their lives are very different from the real world. One champion his whole life is different from all of ours. We must not let one Delivery Company Dominate because it will mean less bargaining power for riders. Case in point, 1. *FARES* have dropped over the years and 2. you have to *pay for their shirts and bags.* Providing free mobile Advertisements Islandwide for them. 3. *Time-Slot schedule* : You are no longer free with your time. If you unable to secure the slot, you get no job during that slot. 4. *SG lacks union for this trade.* Who is there to negotiate for you with them if something unfair happens to you? Suffer in silence? David Vs Goliath? 5. *SG has no Min wage* this means as more enters the trade, due to supply over Demand, fares can be lowered to boost profit for company. It's at their disposal. Unfortunately, too many are in too much need for this form of earnings that many willing to do it when it rains also. 6. Singaporeans generally are resigned to their fate and few would take on the Goliath. The problems are possible partly because of the citizen mindset or their fear of Goliath generally. I hear so many unhappiness on the ground but at the end they just suck it up. This is pro business at the expense of riders themselves. Ownself Eat Ownself

These are good points. I definitely do not agree with monopoly in the market. This can be good feedback to the policy maker

@@AxeandYung A more concrete way is to be Represented by an Independent Union for Gig Economy workers starting with protection for delivery partners. If Opposition can facilitate or help it would be great cos most citizens are fearful in their version of 'democracy'. Ironically, a person fearful of speaking or thinking about politics is unable to perform his role as a participant of democracy. He is Impotent in this aspect.
