Greetings from Scotland! A team Morocco beat 3-1 at the 1998 World Cup in France! We played well that night, but Morocco were amazing and they are truly amazing now! I reckon African Cup will be Morocco v Egypt Final, but it's such a crazy tournament, it could be many of the 24 teams in the Semis. Good luck to all nations in that cup.

Marocco made me so intense happy with what they achieved this past World Cup. Genuinely had me sad when they were sent home. Seeing the entire Arab world celebrate had me in awe. Def will be following them ❤💚

From my recollection, it’s not that the families didn’t support their girls to play, it was that the girls had no interest in playing. I loved playing soccer when I was a kid in Morocco till I was kicked out by the boys😅. My dad almost started begging other dads in our building to ask their daughters to play soccer with me and some girls did until they lost interest (shortly after)😅

@@user-wu3rn3zj8x absolutely! Humans ‘interest’ is often shaped by what society considers appropriate, valuable or ‘cool’. Soccer wasn’t considered an appropriate (feminine) activity for girls. It wasn’t illegal but it wasn’t encouraged either
Our national soccer teams become Moroccan diplomates abroad ..they really show to the world how Moroccan people can succeed in different level of life ..thanks for this amazing documentary .. we ask everyone in the world to visit morocco in order to enjoy beautiful weather , delicious foods , discovering remarquable cultures with all its Moroccan dialectes in Arabic and tamazight ..
