Peter Pan is next and then Top Notch and Sandy’s. I’ve been in Austin 30 years and it has changed soooo much.

We better not lose Lions! There are so many things we have lost and we cherish the things we still have more than we did. We can’t lose our soul. We almost did in the late 1990’s. I think people realize how precious our city is. I am a native Austinite. I was a symphony jewel in the 80’s when people couldn’t give away land in town. I have been involved in the Junior League and many organizations that contribute to the love this city embodies. The people of Austin are what make this place so unique and make it cool so, in theory, I was cool before Austin was cool babe! I hope I have given as much back as I have received from this town.

Charge, is inevitable. But what will steal the soul of Austin, is when youve given up because you cant hold onto the past You not only loose your past but your opportunity too. And by the time you realized it, it's to doubting and too different to relate to anymore. I'm afraid, that all, of that Austin, is gone now

Disney land for rich drunks now. Be told by an Austin resident “ I’ve played Austin out” in other words the ride was fun but that’s all it ever was to me

Good point. Definitely a place for young people/new college grads. Older people/natives seem happy and well-taken care of/happy there as well. It's the ones in between those age groups I didn't get to see much of to know how they live. I suppose they're just raising kids or something. I just can't imagine having kids there. It's still the wild west to me, lol. Feels weird.

Just don’t “California” up Texas, transplants. Leave your political leanings there. Remember, you left for a reason.

They built out east side then wonder where the homeless came from. Built the city council on top of Liberty Lunch. That was the beginning of the end

Saw Austin recently for the first time. Wasn't particularly friendly, and couldn't find much to do for fun. Crummy dive bars and crummier man-made lake parks. Crime and homeless drug addicts are out of control there as well.

Betting anyone from Austin that ever saw Dallas Buyers Club and realized how badly Matthew sold out would ever let him walk by without a good slap in the face. You knew it then Matthew, you know it is worse now Matthew. Come clean Matthew.
