I wish these actors were open and honest about their extremely common human insecurities. Matthew, it's okay if you did have a hair transplant - no judgment here. I highly doubt Slater decided to ask that question on his own. McConaughey and/or his people have probably seen all the posts and articles online showing how bald he use to be and told the producers to ask this question. I was just watching A Time To Kill and was wondering if he had a transplant or something because his hair was super thin back then.

If there was a product that bald people could rub on their head to restore a full head of hair, it would be everywhere and transplant surgeons would be out of business. He had a hair transplant, and a damn good one. Why he can't admit to that is beyond me.

Minoxidil (Rogaine) can do that, I see it often on Reddit, but you have to be a hyper responder to it as well as to Finasteride which slows down the hair loss itself. You can go from blatantly needing to shave your head to full head of hair if you’re really lucky and committed to it

Ok...this guy is a liar when it comes to his hair. I wished he would’ve been honest to help remove the stigma of getting a transplant. Most men go bald and it shouldn’t be laughed at that we use medical advancements to keep hair that we love. But he most certainly had a period of balding that was noticeable, then for something like six months you’d never see a pic of him without a bandana or cap on his head, when suddenly after that time he started having pics taken without head coverage and with double the hair. Why do we judge so harshly regaining your hair through medicine to the point nobody wants that info to get out?

Mmm 🤔 You may be right about his having had a procedure, but I wouldn’t say your rationale supports it. I’ve seen that there are many protocols for transplants that actually restrict the patient’s use of caps and bandannas for almost 3 months because they loser some of the implanted hair naturally. Many doctors want you to wait until a full hair growth cycle is complete. Side note: I absolutely 💜 Red from Fraggle Rock!

No he is not. He wouldve gotten curly hair as he got older without the perm. Its not like the perm sticks around when when the hair that got the perm is gone. I had straight/wavy hair up until i was 15 years old then i got curly hair and have had it since (im 20 now). My hair looks like Matthew’s actually, little bit shorter on the sides. And i’ve never ever had a perm or used curling products. Your hair can change during puberty

my hairline started receding a few years ago and I immediately started using Rogaine daily and derma-rolling 3 times a week…also in my beard area. My hairline got super thick and dense and my beard is now very dark and full (some patchy areas filled in). Some people that hadn’t seen me in a while have asked me if I had a hair transplant, and I have to swear to them that I didn’t Might not work for everyone, but for me, this two treatments were miraculous, and the trick is to jump on it very early while you still have hair follicles.

Is it the derma roller where you can adjust depth ? Like they start at 0.25mm and go up to 3mm , if so what depth did you use on hair and beard ? Also was it topical rogaine or oral minoxidil? I heard oral is way better for hair growth

Okay everyone saying he's lying, it's very possible. But there's a chance he isn't. I was losing my hair in the same pattern as male pattern baldness too went to a dermatologist because I had terrible dandruff, not even for my hair loss, turns out I had clogged follicles not male pattern baldness, got treated for that, once I cleared up my follicle issues my hair came right back. Just saying he might have had something similar. 🤷🏿‍♂️

Same. My brother had dandruff like crazy and as soon as he began to kept his head moist and massaged it with oils daily, his hairline returned. His hair looks thick again. Dry scalp can block your hair follicles from coming out

it's not a transplant. He was photographed that same year with the thinning again in his frontal region. He does some sort of men's hair braiding/extensions in the front. Goes back often to maintain it often as they fall out eventually. Also takes Propecia to maintain the bio hair I'm sure.

I'm fairly sure with the exception of Vin Diesel, The Rock and Bradley Cooper ALL of the A List males over 45 do.

You can regrow hair with several different things. Lavender, peppermint, and rosemary mixed with castor oil. A lot of my hair fell out when I tried a new shampoo and I used rosemary castor oil and bought natural soaps through Ashley Marie soaps and my hair grew back in thicker than before. After I grew mine back in on my hair line I started using it on my husband's bald spot and it's about half the size after a few months.

100% I remember using lavender and peppermint one day. I mistakenly took twice the dosage my hair doctor recommended and I woke up the following day with a full head of 10 inches long hair. Then I added rosemary and my hair themselves grew hair, I'm now to a point where if I want to get a haircut I have schedule an appointment with my butcher.
